Answer:	My guess is the motor requires 15 or more amps to start up, you need a 20 amp power supply
Question:	Can you remove the lumber support
Answer:	It all depends on how many watts you are broadcasting. I drive 50 watts with mine with know problem. The basic formula is Power equals Voltage times Current. If you Multiply 12 volts by 12 amps you get 144 watts. But there are things in the radio that consume power besides the final transmitted signal. But as you can see 50 to 100 watts should be within the limits of the power supply. Also when you are just listening, the power consumption is minimal.
Question:	What is the warranty
Answer:	Yes this power supply would work with the Garmin, however it would be way overkill and wouldn't make sense. According to Garmin's website, the Striker Plus 4 draws only .23 Amps, and this Pyramid converter produces 10 Amps. It would work fine to power it, but that's a lot of money and space (this thing isn't small). You would be better getting a plug-in style adapter for $10 or so that produces 230 mA or more. If you did want a bench power supply, I would recommend the Pyramid PS-15KX with the cigarette lighter adapter so you can easily move your Garmin to your boat after you are done with it in your workstation.

I use it for ham radio to power a VHF radio transmitting at a power level of 50 watts. The radio draws 11.5 amps of current at full power without issue when using this power supply as a 12 volt power source.

Answer:	I don't feel the chair would be too big. At 5'8" the head rest on the chair is at the perfect position for me, it is adjustable. The seat of the chair is about the size of a large executive desk chair. At 235lbs I find the chair seat large but not too big. I don't think I would want a small seat as I would feel cramped.

Answer:	That is my understanding. There was nothing on it saying it is the 8247, but from everything I was able to learn about this chair and the 8247 listed on their website, I believe this is the 8247.

Answer:	I didn't have any problems with the seat cushion. I made sure all the screws were evenly tightened and turned out well for me. My problem though was the back. Looks like the holes were drilled slightly off and made the back slightly askew, bringing the right side of the back a little too far forward than the right side. Other than that, it turned out ok.

Answer:	This chair is so awesome. It is heavily padded all around, including the foot rest. Although, the padding is fairly firm. This chair takes a beating everyday and is still in new condition.
