Question:	Wondering what the diameter of the upper rods are. Thinking of using panels with grommet and can't be any bigger tham 1.5 inch to work. Thank You
Answer:	I’m not sure as I purchased for my daughter who lives in Everett and I was not there when she set it up. If I have to guess probably 1.5” diameter the rods are square shape and the black coating would scrape off if u put metal grommets up. My daughter says she put soft long sheer panels up from ikea and fastened by tying the fabric to secure it. It is a very sturdy frame- if using modern foam mattress I recommend getting a flat board to put under the mattress as the slats will leave indents and potentially make mattress lumpy over time without flat support of wood.
