Answer:	They always count the bottom permanent shelf, It cannot be adjusted.

They also told me they were going to refund me $20 for not having extra keys for me, but they never refunded me the money or answered any more of my messages. It’s a great cabinet though. I ended getting a lock smith to copy the keys for me for $3 each. Good luck

When I notified the company, I believe their response was "no," but they were thinking of making additional shelves available for purchase. Whether they did, I don't know. Let me caution you on one other problem I had. They send the product with two stationary wheels and two swivel wheels. IF you have a large floor area in which to turn the cabinet, fine, but I did not and was lucky enough to have them send me two more swivel wheels to replace the stationary ones. I told them that they should charge me, but they didn't. SO, exceptional customer service...especially since the wheels were an international (China, Japan??) shipment. PLEASE try the cabinet as it comes for several weeks before determining if you need all 4 wheels to be swivel. Hope that's helpful!

Answer:	I guess they COULD, they are painted metal and have a good ground clearance to avoid groundwater, but they certainly aren't waterproof.

Answer:	It is actually, it's a great closing mechanism to keep unwanted animals, and little rodents out. We actually got it to keep our future primate out of it, since it comes with a lock. We like it, and it's pretty roomy for many goods, and supplies. I recommend it. I'm looking for a stove that is mouse proof too, we have 3 cats, but they tend to slack on their job sometimes. But we have issues with mice getting into our gas cooking stove and they urinate in it and makes us sick to our stomach when we use the oven.. Do you have any recommendations for a gas stove ? Since we both have mice in common lol

The Sandusky Lee RTA7000-09 locking steel cabinet has 4 adjustable shelves. Each shelf has 180lb capacity and can be adjusted in 2 inch increments, providing maximum adaptability and convenience for your unique storage and organizing needs.
