Answer:	The keyboard connects via magnets in the side of the iPad, so I did have to stop using the case. However the keyboard leaves the back of the iPad exposed when closed, and the whole thing looked so dangerously fragile I bought a slip case to keep it in. I'd recommend that.

Answer:	This keyboard (and most importantly, iOS itself) supports nearly ALL the keyboard commands you would use on a Mac, such as Cmd+C, Cmd+V (copy, paste), and even text selection with the keyboard by holding Shift (and Option for word by word selection) while moving the cursor with the arrow keys. The "Delete key works like a "Backspace" key, deleting characters to the left of the cursor; on any Mac, and including iOS devices, hold the Fn key (Function key, bottom left of the keyboard) and press "Delete" to delete characters to the RIGHT of the cursor.The text editing that can be done on an iPad is 99.9% of what you can do on a full sized Mac (I say 99.9% because there may be edge cases I can't think of). For writing and text editing using a physical keyboard, the iPad and this Logitech Ultrathin keyboard cover can almost completely replace a full sized Mac for this purpose, it's pretty amazing.

Answer:	Typing, yes; reading and using? That depends. The stand is limited to one angle which is a bit steep for full upright lap use and just a tad shallow for fully reclined use, as far as I am concerned; I tend to not need the keyboard in bed and I just remove it. The iPad mini itself is pretty stable in the groove though; if you tilt it more than about 35 degrees backward or about 20 forward it will start to fall out. It's more steady than the larger iPad version physically because the mini center of mass is lower and it fits pretty snug in the groove.

Answer:	Pictures in folio mode is a no go, but I don't have any problem with taking pictures with the keyboard out or just flapping down. Dropped it once, caught in mid air and folio popped oped and Ipad flew out onto the floor. Folio just protects from every day use but not hard use.

Answer:	I use a standard USB extension cable for mine. Just plug the USB end of the charging cord into the extension and the extension into the power block.

Answer:	I don't find the case flimsy at all and have had no problem with it falling back. The magnet holds VERY well. I have been very happy with the case. I use this case now exclusively.

Answer:	Don’t know why. Mine work. One negative I have found is that when you start typing there is a delay in the words printing. It may start showing up about the third word which is very annoying. Answer:	They are smaller than regular size but I'm not sure I'd call them mini cause I've played smaller. I have a big hand that can stretch a 10th on regular sized keys. On the Hohner keyboard I can reach a 12th or 13th.
