User questions & answers
Question: | how long do they last |
Answer: | Not sure how long they last yet. I've only had it for about a month. It seems to be very well made, and I expect it to last at least as long as a normal pillow. The fill is dense, and seems like it won't clump up as fast as a normal pillow. |
Question: | I am a side-sleeper. Sometimes my ears hurt after a night of sleeping on them. Does the trapezoid indentation prevent this from happening |
Answer: | The trapezoid indentation is so low, that I'm unable to place my head in the indentation without my head tilting in an awkward / downward angle. The instructions to the pillow indicate that the areas to the left and right of the indentation are used for side sleeping. I've found these areas are unusally firm and my ears become sensitive after several hours of sleeping on these areas. In addition, after 2 - 3 months of using the pillow I believe the "small" version might have been better for me (I'm 5'5" tall). |
Question: | is this pillow so firm that when sleeping on your side your ear begins to throb |
Answer: | Yes it does. I often find myself switching off sides I sleep on throughout the night because of it. |
Question: | Can anyone tell me when sleeping on your side if your head slides back into the center of the pillow and if it does- does it affect your neck pain |
Answer: | For those saying their head slides back into the middle when sleeping on their side, perhaps they need the softer version or the smaller version of this pillow. I've had this pillow for 5 or so years now and am planning to replace it with the same. My chiropractor had these in his office and offered a free trial. It does take a little bit of adjustment/getting used to, but waking up with a blazing headache has practically ceased. I used to wake up with them two to three days per week and now if I'm unlucky, once per month. For me, this pillow has been a godsend. |

Tri-Core - Orthopedic Support Pillow
Maximize Your Comfort and Support
Helps Provide Proper Alignment of the Spine
Product description
The Tri-Core Comfort Zone Pillow, featuring Outlast Technology, helps regulate temperatures by absorbing heat when you’re too warm and releasing heat when you’re cold. Outlast was developed by NASA to help protect astronauts from temperature fluctuations, and now you can use that technology to get a better night’s sleep! In addition to helping regulate your temperature, the Tri-Core Comfort Zone Pillow also helps provide proper alignment of the neck. For back sleeping, a FIRM cervical roll supports the neck while a shaped center gently cradles the head for better sleep. For side sleeping, the raised side areas help keep the head level for proper alignment of the spine. In order to provide therapeutic benefits and help restore the natural curve of the neck, two very firm cervical rolls provide different support options. Use the larger neck roll for maximum support. Use the smaller neck roll if you are in the adjustment phase or if you prefer slightly less support. For those who are new to sleeping on a cervical support pillow, or prefer gentle support, the “Gentle” version may be a better option. It may take some time to adjust to this cervical pillow and immediate overuse can actually increase neck pain. Those who slowly ease their way into orthopedic correction, by alternating between this pillow and their current pillow, achieve the best results. The gentle version provides moderate to firm support, while the standard version provides very firm support. The Tri-Core Comfort Zone Pillow is available in two sizes, and conveniently fits into your favorite standard pillowcase. Full Size 24 x 16 Inches. Mid-Size 22 x 15 Inches. Made in USA.
- THIS PILLOW IS DESIGNED TO HELP CORRECT SPINAL POSTURE OF THE NECK. The concave center cradles the head as the cervical roll supports the neck. Helps restore the proper curvature of the spine.
- FIRM SUPPORT: The gentle option is slightly less firm (but still quite firm) for a less aggressive correction.
- CHOOSE A SIZE: The full size pillow is appropriate for most adults. IMPORTANT: It may take time to adjust. The pillow is working to help restore proper posture during sleep
- TEMPERATURE REGULATING: The Outlast side interacts with your body to help balance temperature by absorbing, storing and releasing heat. MADE IN USA. Tri-Core Gentle 24 x 16 inches. Nonallergenic.
- YOU MAY NEED TO ADJUST to the pillow over several weeks. Most users who slowly ease their way into orthopedic correction achieve the best results. Alternate between Tri-Core and current pillow while your body adjusts.
User questions & answers
Question: | what is the pillow filled with inside? Is it memory foam, straw or polyester fill? And is the pillow shipped in a vacuum sealed box or is it shipped |
Answer: | Thank you for your question. This pillow is filled with 100% virgin polyester fiber. The pillow is packaged in a sealed plastic bag that isn't vacuum sealed but it is compressed before it is sealed so it may still be somewhat compressed. |
Question: | do all of the tri-core pillows have this Outlast technology |
Answer: | Tri-Core May make a different pillow, too. I don’t know. But all of the Outlast Tri-core pilles have the same technology, as far as I know. That would be a good Customer Service Question. |
Question: | Is it washable |
Answer: | The label does not indicate whether or not it's washable; I would go onto the product website to check that out. If it is washable, it should probably be taken to a laundry with a large washing machine. |
Question: | is it king size |
Answer: | I would say that it is normal size and not a king size. But it is all you need |
- HELPS CORRECT SPINAL POSTURE OF THE NECK: The D shaped center cradles the head as the cervical roll supports the neck. Helps restore proper curvature of the spine. Commonly used to help treat a variety of conditions affecting the neck and shoulders.
- EXTRA FIRM PILLOW: The D shaped center helps deliver better back sleeping by cradling the head and allowing the built-in neck roll to firmly support the neck. IMPORTANT: It may take time to adjust. The pillow is working to help restore proper posture during sleep.
- SIZING: Most men and taller women prefer the full size (24x16 inches). Most women, petite men, and children over 10 prefer the Midsize (22x15 inches).
- YOU MAY NEED TO ADJUST: Immediate overuse may increase neck pain. Most users who slowly ease their way into orthopedic correction achieve the best results. Alternate D-Core and current pillow while body adjusts. Shaped center is not for side sleeping.
- MADE IN USA. Nonallergenic, 100 percent virgin polyester fiber fill. Cover 50/50 cotton/polyester blend. Fits standard size pillow case.
User questions & answers
Question: | Has anyone had any success using the D-core pillow for side sleeping? Are you suppose to turn the pillow vertically? Sides seem way too high |
Answer: | I sleep on my side most of the night and it seemed too high at first for me too but my neck must have gotten used to it and now I don't notice which side of the pillow I sleep on (I flip it every night). I have slept with my head in the middle between the two sides and on each side. I can't sleep on any other kind of pillow without neck aches so this pillow is a life saver for me. I've never had a neck injury, I just noticed my neck being stiff all the time and cracking when I would drive. I don't have either of those things happening now. |
Question: | what is the difference between the 240 D core and the and the midsize 241 D core |
Answer: | 240 D core: 24"x 16" (61cm x 41cm). 241 D core: 22"x 15" (56cm x 38cm). |
Question: | I am a side/stomach sleeper. I have a herniiated dics in my neck. I dont like hard or thick pillows. Would you recommend the mid core pillow? Thanks |
Answer: | This is a fairly thick and firmer type of neck pillow. There are a lot of other fiber neck pillows on the market today where there is more give to the pillow. If you have a herniated disc, consider a traction pillow where the pillow will give your neck a gentle stretch as well when you are sleeping on your side or back. None of these pillow works well for stomach sleepers. |
Question: | Anyone know the difference between a D-core and Tri-core pillow |
Answer: | I actually wrote the company and asked them, and this is the answer I got from one of their customer service representatives : “Hello – The difference between the two would be the price. The D-Core is a more economical version of the tri-core. The Tri-core would most likely stand up lone han the D-core.” I Assume that she meant “longer than” the D-Core, But if the company sells a more expensive product, then normally they advertise the features and benefits of that “better” or more “long-lasting” product. |

D-Core Cervical Support Pillow
Our highly requested fiber support pillows provide better support and last longer than traditional pillows. This pillow helps provide proper cervical support at an economical cost.
It May Take Time To Adjust
This pillow has to be FIRM to help achieve orthopedic correction of the neck and upper spine. Immediate overuse may increase neck pain. For the best results; alternate the D-Core Pillow with your current pillow while your body adjusts.
The D-shaped center cradles the head allowing the built in neck rolls to firmly support the neck while back sleeping. The comfortable, but firm side lobes are taller to support the head in a natural position while side sleeping.
Maximize Your Comfort and Support
The VERY FIRM D-Core Cervical Pillow helps relieve tension headaches, neck spasms, arthritis and snoring. The D-shaped center gently supports the head while the cervical lobes support the neck, helping restore the natural curve of the neck & upper spine. The shaped center helps deliver positive orthopedic benefits for back sleeping by cradling the head & allowing the built-in neck roll to firmly support the neck. The comfortable but firm side lobes support the head in a natural position when side sleeping.
The two different width neck rolls on the top & bottom provide a custom fit for different sized sleepers or while transitioning to more or less support. The generous side lobes are taller for side sleeping, & help support the neck. High resiliency fiber springs back when compressed so the pillow lasts longer than most traditional pillows. The blended cotton/polyester cover is breathable & soft to the touch. If you are new to a cervical support pillow, it may take time to adjust while the pillow works to help restore proper cervical curve during sleep.
Allow Time to Adjust
You may need to adjust to your new pillow over several weeks. Immediate overuse may increase neck pain and most users who slowly ease their way into orthopedic correction achieve the best results.
Accommodating for ALL Body Types
This pillow is offered in two sizes to accommodate to all body types. Most adults would find the full size most appropriate (24 x 16 inches). If you are smaller framed, you would likely find, the MidSize more appropriate (22 x 15 inches).

User questions & answers
Question: | what is the size of the pillow, and does it come in different densities |
Answer: | It measures approximately 22 inches long by 21 inches around. It does not look like it should because it is oblong, but I measured with a tape measure. No it only comes in the one density. It is way too big for my liking and very hard to maneuver to get comfortably under my neck. |
Question: | Is this a genuine Jackson cervipillo |
Answer: | yes it is genuine ... my first one lasted me 12-15 years and is money well spent |
Question: | Is this the Jackson Cervipillo? Is it firm on both ends and softer in the middle |
Answer: | Thank you for your question. We looked at the MFG website Core Products and only found one product with the Jackson name, but it didn't include the Cervipillo in the name. According to Google the Jackson Cervipillo can be found with a company called North Coast. From what we can see the size is the same as well as what inside (quality fiber fill). This product is not made of memory foam. |
Question: | What are the measurements of the pillow |
Answer: | the pillow is 22 inches long and 21 inches around |

User questions & answers
Question: | what is the foam made of? Not the cores. The rest of the pillow. Is it polyurethane foam |
Answer: | I found this on Core Website, Says Foam then explains about the polyurethane foam, so my guess would be polyurethane foam:A. Fiber: Allows for comfort and support. High quality fiber is blown to exact specification to insure uniform distribution and pillow weight. Originally used to emulate features of natural down pillows & used in comfort for accommodation. Advances in fiber have resulted in great ability to comfort & support. Core Pillows use conjugated fiber which acts like a spring. During manufacturing, high pressure will link fibers together & different resiliency levels can be created in the pillow. This process helps fiber stay in place and resists migration, yielding consistent support as fiber generally has amorphous tendencies and can clump or rat tail during cleaning. Foam can offer the most consistent support but Fiber currently can offer almost as much but with more comfort. Fiber material is available in wide array of sizes, shapes & coatings. Has ability to perform as either a semi-solid or semi-fluid. Has natural flame retardance & durability.B. Polyurethane Foam: Has memory to return to original shape. All of the foam used can be classified by two measurements: 1. Density and 2. Indent Load Deflection (ILD). Foam pillows have been around for quite some time. Over the years it has been cut and shaped to provide support and/or correction. **General considered the most supportive pillow material with the longest lifespan of use. Availability in immense variety of densities, firmness. Excellent resiliency & shape retention |
Question: | Which level of support lobes does this pillow include |
Answer: | they include 3 levels of support lobes |
Question: | I have knots in my neck always. Would this foam make my neck more sore? Double Core or Tri Core Excel or Iso Cool so many choices |
Answer: | The Tri Core Excel helped me for a while, but it broke down pretty quickly. The quality of these pillows isn't such that they last long. I eventually ended up with this Iso-cool contour pillow: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ZK7MPG/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It isn't perfect, but it is the best I have found. |
Question: | How often do you recommend replacing this pillow? I mean, the foam can't last forever, right |
Answer: | This is a great neck pillow. I have had mine for 5 years and am just needing to replace it. It doesn’t break down like most pillows. |

The Cerv-Align FIRM Cervical Support Pillow has both the firm support of an orthopedic pillow, and the comfort of a traditional sleeping pillow. Designed to help relieve headaches, neck pain, and muscle soreness, this pillow is commonly used to help manage a variety of conditions affecting the neck and shoulders. User questions & answers
Question: | Which Cerv-Align pillow is best for side sleepers |
Answer: | The pillow doesn't work well for side sleepers. The curve at the bottom of the pillow is a ridge that goes under your neck. Then your head basically sits in a padded cradle. This would not work well for side sleepers. |
Question: | Is this pillow washable |
Answer: | Yes, the pillow can be hand washed. The instructions say: Hand was cold with mild soap. Dry flat, do not machine dry. Do not use chlorine additives. |
Question: | Will this work for a small woman who finds that the neck support is too much on tried ones, so wants one with a small neck section |
Answer: | Ok for small person but the neck roll was too hard for me |
Question: | What is the filling in this pillow |
Answer: | To answer your question, the tube piece that fits under the neck appears to be stuffed with cotton. This is very thick and rigid, but breaks down over time. The reminder I’ve the pillow is the standard cotton fill. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What are it's dimensions |
Answer: | It is 24x16 |
Question: | i9s it fiber fill |
Answer: | Yes fiber unfortunately, and it wears out very quick, they need to make it in memory foam because it's a great pillow |
Question: | foam or fiber? for the 2 pack |
Answer: | I believe fiber - If it isn't fiber then it is a mixture of foam and fiber - it does not feel foamy - it is very comfortable and it doesn't conform to your head or neck, it actually keeps it's shape to support your neck |
Question: | foam or fiber? for the 2 pack |
Answer: | FIBER |

Question: | sz woman would petite be the appropriate size? I also sleep on a firm temperpedic mattress so would a less firm pillow be more beneficial |
Answer: | You need to measure your shoulder/neck area according to the directions. |
Product features
STEP 1: Find The Bony Prominence in your shoulder
Use your fingertip to feel for the bone on top of the shoulder. Do not measure out to the side of the arm.
STEP 2: Measure Using a Ruler
Measure the length of your shoulder using a ruler. It is most accurate to have someone help you with this process.
STEP 3: Compare Your Measurements to Sizing Guide
Compare your measurements to the sizing guide shown in Step 4 to determine the best size pillow for you.
STEP 4: Choose Your Pillow
There are 5 different sizes of Therapeutica Sleeping Pillows ranging from Child to X-Large.
NOTE: If you measure between sizes, or sleep on a soft mattress, select one size smaller than you measured. It is not necessary to choose two sizes smaller if you measure between two sizes AND sleep on soft mattress.
- Child: Less than 4.25 inches
- Petite: 4.25 to 5.25 inches
- Average: 5.25 to 6.25 inches
- Large: 6.25 to 7.25 inches
- X-Large: more than 7.25 inches
CORRECTLY SIZED PILLOW
When the pillow fits correctly, the line from the nose, chin, and neck are in alignment which means the spine is properly supported.
PILLOW IS TOO LARGE
When the pillow is too large, the nose and chin turn upward slightly, twisting the neck which, overtime, can potentially lead to neck pain, headaches, and other issues.
PILLOW IS TOO SMALL
When the pillow is too small, the line from the nose to the chest create an arc, putting stress on the neck and upper back which, overtime, can potentially lead to neck pain, headaches, and other issues.
Each component of the Therapeutica Pillow was thoughtfully designed to help correct the cervical curve and support the neck in a neutral position
- WHY IS THE FOAM SO FIRM? The pillow must be firm to provide therapeutic benefits. The Therapeutica pillow is firmest when it is brand new. As it is used, the cell structure of the foam will soften and provide comfortable resiliency. This pillow is NOT a plush general comfort pillow. NOTE: If you feel the pillow is too firm, you can accelerate the break-in process by inserting the pillow into a case and stepping up and down repeatedly on the pillow. This will soften the cell structure much more quickly.
- The Therapeutica Sleeping Pillow is constructed of a non-allergenic, non-toxic foam that will not lose its shape or resilience. All Therapeutica pillows come with a fitted zippered pillow cover made of a polyester/cotton blend, and it’s machine washable.
- IMPORTANT! Your body may need to adjust to the product over a period of several weeks. If you overuse it immediately, it may increase your neck pain. Most users find that if they slowly ease their way into the correction provided by a cervical pillow, they achieve the best results. You may need to alternate between this product and your current pillow while your body adjusts.

User questions & answers
Question: | Is the travel neck pillow good? better than brooks stone pillow? tia |
Answer: | I’m not familiar with the Brooks pillow. I found the travel pillow too thick. The neck area on the travel TriCore pillow is definitely higher than the neck area on the TriCore pillow. (Medium, firm) that came with it. I’m thinking it might work as a car neck pillow, but not for sleeping in a bed. I am 5‘3“, 120 pounds. |
Product description
The Basic Support Pillow helps relieve tension, headaches, and neck pain by helping restore the natural curve of the neck. This pillow is our most economically priced, full-size precision cut foam pillow. For a comfortable night's sleep, this pillow is designed with two lobe sizes to provide support options for different sized sleepers. The contoured design offers two levels of support and is ideal for back sleepers. To help restore the natural curve of the neck while sleeping, simply place the support lobe you prefer under your neck. Use the smaller neck support if you are in the adjustment phase or if you prefer slightly less support; use the larger neck support for maximum support. It may take some time to adjust to this cervical pillow and immediate overuse may actually increase neck pain. For best results, slowly ease into orthopedic correction by alternating between this pillow and your current pillow. For those who are new to sleeping on a cervical support pillow, or prefer gentle support, the “Gentle” version may be a better option. The gentle version provides moderate to firm support, while the standard version provides firm support. A washable cotton/polyester cover is included, or it conveniently fits into your favorite standard pillowcase. Pillow size: 22 inches x 14.5 inches with a 4 inch lobe and a 4 5/8 inch lobe. Made in USA and contains no latex.

User questions & answers
Question: | measurements please |
Answer: | Horizontal - 21 inches by 13 inches; vertical - one side higher than the other at 4 inches and 5 inches, providing different heights to support your head/neck. It fits easily in a standard size pillow case. |
Question: | Is this standard or gentle support |
Answer: | I would say standard and slowly changes to gentle as it used more. |
Question: | Is this pillow hypoallergenic |
Answer: | I would think so Natalie. It is a foam pillow. Let me say I need to change that review. In the beginning I was so happy with this pillow. I like a hard pillow with neck support and it truly fit the bill. After a couple of months in use where your head rests it has just gone flat I thought it was like the pillow I bought years ago. It is not. I have quit using it all together. I would not purchase again. Hope this helps. |
