Answer:	This is absolutely NOT 100% caffeine. It is cut with rice flour. As another answer states: the math doesn't add up. This capsule is only 44% caffeine by mass/weight. Math aside, I can taste the rice powder because I dump my caffeine pills into a water bottle to drink the caffeine in solution. It also turns the water cloudy white, which doesn't happen with pure caffeine. The "Gods Speed" caffeine pills I used to get on Amazon are 100% caffeine, and the capsules are about 1/2 the size, which supports the "only 44% caffeine" conclusion.

Answer:	A cup of coffee has ~80mg of caffeine, so this has more caffeine than a standard cup of coffee. Personally, I'm a slow drinker so these perk me up much more because it's like taking a shot of espresso. It hits you quickly and as strong if not stronger than coffee.

Answer:	No, but you can open them. When I make pre workout I open them and add one whole one and half of one into my shaker bottle.

For certain particular crops like soybeans, which are often genetically modified in the US to resist "Round-Up", it does make some sense to ask. Answer:	For many years I used Wal-marts generic 200 mg.. caffeine tablets. I found some in a travel bag that were about 5-6 years old. They had the same effect as when new.

Answer:	You guys are so funny. First, there is a very, very small amount of calcium in the tablet. It's not going to do anything to you one way or another. There is probably more calcium dissolved in a few ounces of spring water than in one of these tablets. The person that guessed it was a binder is the closest to answering the question correctly. It's not technically a binder, it's an indirect pH buffer. Caffeine is basic (alkaline). It's a weak base, that means it's partially ionized at pH 7 to 7.5 which is pure water or the body's pH (7.4), respectively. All solutions must balance positive and negative charges by definition. That means there needs to be some type of acidic counterbalance to caffeine's basic (-) charge. It's not calcium itself, it's the phosphate that is originally bound to calcium as a solid. Once the caffeine and calcium phosphate are dissolved together in solution during the manufacturing process, the phosphate buffers the caffeine, which means instead of the caffeine having all - charges, some of the hydrogen from the phosphate comes over to the caffeine, so that there is an equilibrium between the - charged (ionized) caffeine and the charge-balanced caffeine. The pKa of caffeine is 8.30. That means at pH 8.30, half of the caffeine is - charged, and half is a neutral charge with an H+ ion neutralizing the - charge. Since water and blood pH is lower than 8.30, if caffeine exists between 7.0 to 7.5 pH, it's going to want to hold on to more H+ from a donor like phosphate to help balance the rest of the solution's pH. So caffeine technically is a pH buffer just like phosphate, although it's certainly not used as one like phosphate is. Conversely, if the pH rises about 8.30, caffeine will start releasing the majority of its H+ to acidify and thus balance the solution's pH. Because pH and pKA is on a logarithmic scale, if caffeine has an equal - and neutral charge at pH 8.30, it would have 10% - (negatively) charged molecules and 90% neutral molecules. Since it started out more - charged at pH 8.30, it got those extra H+ ions from phosphate. Calcium has nothing to do with this, it's only bound to phosphate until it's dissolved, and then it just hangs out in solution and does nothing. It's the phosphate that's important for balancing caffeine. Since pH is determined by H+, Ca2+ or calcium ion doesn't affect pH and that's exactly why they use something like Calcium (or Magnesium, etc.) with phosphate, so the phosphate does the buffering work after the Calcium or Magnesium is separated from it in solution. You'll see examples like this in other preparations, like eye drops, where there is a small amount of HCl or hydrochloric acid, or NaOH or sodium hydroxide. That's to balance out the pH, although those are strong acids and bases, so they don't really buffer like phosphate does, they simply lower or raise the pH to an exact amount by pharmacist titration so the eye drops are in the right physiological pH range. Na+ or Cl- does nothing, just like calcium; H+ or OH- does the buffering work. Phosphate buffer is more complicated because it has three H+ binding sites and thus 3 different pKA's (equilibrium of neutral and - charges) at 3 different pH values.

Answer:	I use a pill cutter to cut up caffeine pills. Since I don't drink coffee I rely on pills to get the same effect. But they're always sold with too high of a mg count for someone not addicted to coffee. I cut each pill up into tiny bits and take one...25-50 mg keeps me wired all day till bedtime. The rest I save in a little pill box. Pill cutter is not necessary, you can also use a steak knife which is sometimes better depending on the density of the pill. I am about to order more but this time I am going with a brand that offers 100 mg pll so I don't have to cut up a 200 mg pill into such tiny pieces.

Answer:	To snort enough to feel "buzzed" you'd have to snort 3 pills minimum which is about as much caffeine as 1 rockstar energy drink w/o calories. Basically you'd harm yourself way less shotgunning the energy drink because snorting 3-6 of these pills will be a lot of powder. You can daily shotgun an energy drink easily and quickly w/o ruining your sinus cavities. If you're putting these into other snorted products well if your friends die, they die... they knew the risks but I personally don't recomend.

Answer:	I had the same issue. It worked correctly the first day, but the next day there was no video, only audio. Come to find out that the software (Honestech VHS to DVD 3.0) is outdated and no longer supported. I just ordered a newer version, but it it is much more expensive.
