Use the “ARROW” buttons to toggle between users, and press "START/STOP" to select the user whose history you want to view. 3. Next, use the "ARROW" buttons to cycle through past readings. Pressing the "DOWN ARROW" first will show the average of the last 3 readings taken (as long as at least 3 have been taken), signified by "3A" on the display. The cuff should be snug, but not too tight. You should be able to insert one finger between the cuff and your arm.

STEP 2

The middle of the cuff should be level with the height of your heart. Before starting the measurement, sit comfortably with your back and arm supported, legs uncrossed, and feet flat on the floor. Then start measuring.

STEP 3

Relax and sit comfortably with your left arm resting on a table. Fasten the cuff on your upper arm and position the tube off-center toward the inner side of your arm. Do not talk to people before or while measuring.

If the monitor shows "E1" Reading while measuring, please re-fasten the cuff and try again.

Question:	If i'd like to export the results, what kind of format does it use? if i'd like to send the results to my gp, is it possible somehow
Answer:	Exports in many formats, but excel-style "cells", and ".csv" files, have a major bug: meter reading values are combined with text! This is a major show-stopper since no graphing or trend analysis is possible without individual editing of the output data. Looks like app and cloud software was developed by amateurs (it is very clunky).
Question:	Will this work with s health
Answer:	Yes, it works with S Health. Actually it works better with S Health, than the actual Omron Connect App. I always have transfer issues, connectivity issues and errors when trying to download my readings to the Omron App. With S Health, the app doesn't even need to be open for it to transfer. It hasn't failed to transfer this was yet.
Question:	Is this device stores multiple readings until transferred to a phone
Answer:	Beware, however! The ONLY way to access stored readings is from a Bluetooth connected phone, and you may well have problems with that connection. I have spent hours in the phone with tech support, and it still takes me much unpairing, repairing, and phone rebooting to transfer readings. Last call they promised an email with a RMA for my device, but never follows through. And, the app provides no reporting capability anymore unless you pay for a premium subscription. Buyer beware.
Question:	Is the device as accurate as traditional blood pressure machines
Answer:	I'm an RN and worked as a cardiac icy nurse for a long time. I find device to be very accurate. I have checked it against my old fashioned (and very accurate!!!) manual blood pressure cuff and stethoscope ... and it's accurate. I will cation you that if someone's blood pressure is very high or very low, most electronic BP cuffs won't read. They may say "error" or just appear to not be working. If that happens, do some simple trouble shooting, and if you still can't get a reading, go get it checked elsewhere! But, get it checked!

“Any tips I should follow before taking my reading?”

Avoid eating, drinking alcohol or caffeinated beverages, smoking, exercising or bathing for 30 minutes prior to taking a measurement. It is best to rest quietly for 15 minutes before starting the measurement.

“Why does my blood pressure fluctuate?”

It’s normal for your blood pressure to vary every day—as much as 20mmHg up or down. It’s also common for it to be higher or lower at the doctor’s office. Be sure to discuss your results with your doctor.

“When is the best time to take a reading?”

Most doctors recommend you take readings twice a day, at the same general times each day. For example, once in the morning and once at night for comparison purposes. Check with your doctor for specific instructions.

What's Included:

Step 1: Fasten the Cuff

Find a good place to sit down and try and stay calm for several minutes before taking your measurements.

Put the cuff carefully around you bare wrist and wrap around.

Step 2: Heart level your wrist

Adjust the cuff and keep the device at a heart level distance.

Step 3: Start the Measurement

Then, choose your user profile and press Start.

The BC57 will automatically measure systolic and diastolic blood pressure as well as your heart rate.

All of this, while tracking your heart rate regularity. Make sure to continue sitting still and avoid talking for accurate readings.

Measure twice in a row in order to get the most accurate results.

What does the BC57 measure?

1. Systolic Blood Pressure - indicates how much blood pressure is being exerted against your inner artery walls when the heartbeats.
2. Diastolic Blood Pressure - indicates how much blood pressure is being exerted against your inner artery walls while the heart is resting between beats.
3. Pulse (Heart rate) - measures the heartbeats per minute.

What the BC57 observes passively in the background:

• Categorizes results of each measurement by color green over orange to red (total of 6 color indicators)
• Average Function of the last 3 values (blood pressure is naturally different throughout the day)
