I showed it to my doctor, who said it was good, but told me to wear at night while sleeping to keep my wrist from bending, it is comfortable to sleep in. I have worn it to type on a keyboard during the day; it does keep your wrist from bending; and the piece on your palm is bent inward so your hand stays straight. The only issue I have is writing while wearing it, as it is on my writing hand, that can be awkward, so I try not to write when I have it on. Answer:	They are definitely provide good compression support. They help with sore tendons but don't really stabilize your wrist so you won't bend/curl them when using hand weights or bands. As for beng the best brand or quality, I researched and read reviews on Amazon and they scored hghly. I was looking for something not too expensive since I use with 3-8 lb dumbbells and not serious weight. Hope this is helpful!

Answer:	This brace was for my partner who has bad night clenching on his right wrist. This is his response: I have a skinny wrist and slender hand, and if I fully put my hand into this brace as shown in the product picture, my hand can still clench but at least my wrist won't flex with it. What I do instead is lower my hand's position a bit further down the brace so that the base of my fingers are hugging the bean-bag. This keeps my fingers and my wrist straight. This has eased a TON of tension in my wrist and has eased a lot of the discomfort/inflammation I've had. Sleeping with this on has been uncomfortable at first, but you get used to it.

Answer:	Might be or either the upper Velcro is fastened too tight. You can also try pulling the brace towards your fingers a little.
