Answer:	I use it a part of my regiment for hair loss. I've been using it for 3 years. The active ingredient Ketoconazole (1%) works to suppress the androgen receptor which is part of the process of testosterone conversion to DHT and its destructive action on hair follicles. DHT binds to the receptors of hair follicles 5 times more than testosterone. It is thought that an abundance of DHT attached to hair follicle receptors can trigger the follicles to miniaturize, leading to hair loss. Initially developed as a dandruff, psoriasis and Seborroheic Dermatitis treatment, it has been an effective solution to stopping DHT. It isn’t a miracle cure for hair loss. It is, however, a great and proven hair loss treatment option. It smells pleasantly good, doesn’t feel greasy and there is no build-up. Answer:	I would definitely try to stay focus on shampooing your roots as best as you can. I have locs and my roots are regular and my ends are dry. I used the shampoo from roots to tips and my hair felt balanced. My roots were not oily and my tips felts soft and moisturized. I have 4c hair and locs, so everyone is different. But I did like the way my hair felt! I use it once a month so I don’t overload on the protein, that can cause damage.

Answer:	In my opinion, it helps to effectively cleanse the scalp. If a dirty scalp is the cause of the itching, then yes. My advice would be to find the underlying cause of the itching. If the itching is from dry scalp, I strongly suggest using Design Essentials Moisturizing shampoo after the Cleansing shampoo. Lastly, the Moisturizing conditioner should be used last. Using the last 2 after the Cleansing shampoo applies moisture back 2 ur scalp. I try to stick with natural oils for daily scalp usage in between washing to keep my scalp moisturized. I've had less itching. I use Jojoba oil, Argan oil, Sweet Almond oil, Avocado oil, Grapeseed oil as carrier oils &Rosemary, Bergamot, & Ylang Ylang for essential oils.I'm not consistent; I still have to experiment a little more, but I really like the avocado & bergamot.Listen to your scalp & hair if it really likes something. Sulfonate is related to but not the same as sulfates. In a sulfonate the sulfur is linked direct to a carbon atom where as a sulfate is linked directly to the carbon chain via an oxygen atom. They do have similar qualities when it comes to propensity of being irritating to the skin but sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate is not a sulfate.

Answer:	FAKE REVIEWS?! Most of the positive reviews are suspiciously from July/Aug of 2018 or other clumped time spots. Does everybody have thinning hair at the same time? It appears as if they hire some folks for a few weeks to write the reviews. It is sad that we have to be so hypersensitive to fake news, and that they do not believe in their product enough to let the real users speak. I don't have a lot of extra $$ but I have pride and my review cannot be bought with a free bottle of anything.

Answer:	I did not notice increase in static, but it does make the hair extremely hard to comb through. I have fine hair, but after each wash I get so many knots, that it is a real mission to comb. I use Pura D'Or conditioner as well, but it does not make any difference.

Answer:	Well I just went through and compared all the ingredients between the golden and blue version. The BIG BIG DIFFERENCE that jumped out at me is this now has Ketoconazole at 0.9% in it. I have been historically using the blue version and using Nizoral Ketoconazole shampoo twice a week (marketed for dandruff at $14 per bottle and available at target) which is typically used as the only ingredient in lots of expensive hair loss shampoos out there! So Pura D' Or has taken my advice!...and have added a very important ingredient to this mix. Also it has added Alma oil, Prunus Africana bark and Cucubita Pepo herbs that the blue bottle does not have.

Question:	Do you use this shampoo only or use with your regular shampoo
Answer:	It probably depends on how often you wash your hair and what you're trying to use it for. I bought it for exfoliation to help with dandruff, but I go 3 or 4 days before my hair is oily enough to need to be washed again. I would suggest rotating back and forth just to keep from damaging your scalp from too much abrasion and to keep from potentially drying your hair out since this isn't as smooth or nourishing as a normal shampoo.

Question:	Is this shampoo drying or stripping to curly/damaged hair
Answer:	The ‘base’ used is a blend of ALS/ALES. It is a mild surfactant.
Question:	can I use this shampoo for kids
Answer:	I didn't have any issues with using this product along with flea prevention. It is usually recommended that you add topical treatments 24-72 hrs before or after a bath to allow the oils to return to the skin or the make sure the meds have been fully absorbed, no matter what products are being used. It doesn't matter with oral meds. Flea collars should be removed during the bath, and can be put on after the animal is dry.
Question:	Is it suppose to smell like Pine-Sol
Answer:	Oat proteins, baking soda, coconut based cleanser(plant derived), deionized water, glycerin, DMDH Hydantoin(natural preservative) and Vitamins A, D & E. This is directly off the bottle.
