Question:	Will this system cause thd dryer not to turn on
Answer:	I don't see why it would keep your dryer from coming on. I love mine so much, I got one for my daughter. I used it all last winter and then disconnected it and returned the air hose to the outside vent in the Spring. I just reconnected it yesterday to vent back inside, now that the weather is getting cooler. My dryer is about 6 years old, but my daughter's is only 2 years old and the deflecto dryer lint trap works great with both our machines. We are using it to keep all that heat and humidity inside for the winter while it is cold and dry outside. Hope this is helpful.

We have a super long coil attached so we open the garage door and leave it outside while using the gas dryer. We replace this vent every other year. It’s worked fine up until now, thankfully!

Answer:	I assume it is because it is made of plastic. Gas dryers may run hotter exhaust than electric dryers therefore increasing the risk of fire. I put this on an electric dryer to reduce the amount of lint that would accumulate in a long exhaust run. Seems well made.

Question:	With a washer and dryer configuration in a condominium, where/how would this unit be placed or mounted to provide easy access
Answer:	I have mine sitting on the floor beside the dryer inside a bucket so that the cats don't tip it over. It doesn't have a wall mount which would probably be easier. I don't know if you have a laundry/utility room or a laundry closet (not familiar with the condo configuration). You might could put it on a shelf or on top of the dryer. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I'm not personally familiar with that model dryer however, going by the filter that was suggested for purchase with it you should have no problem connecting the Indoor Lint Trap Filter. The same 4 inch flex hose is required for it's instillation. The one I purchased is attached to a full-sized electric dryer and it's so much cleaner and more convenient than our previous one, I'll be willing to bet that it will work even better on your mini dryer.
Question:	How much extra moisture does this cause? We are worried about moisture damage. Will use 110volt dryer. Would we need a dehumidifier
Answer:	I have not found moisture to be a problem at all, but we live in a fairly dry climate. We actually have a humidifier on our furnace. You probably don't need a dehumidifier. I am very satisfied with this product!

Question:	Can this vent be placed behind the dryer? We have front load stackable, just curios if this should be on the side or can go directly behind
Answer:	It has to be placed so air can flow through it. So I would say it is a function of how much room you have got behind. We actually have ours attached to the outside vent that is under our patio roof but we have a house. I don't know if that's possible in your case.
Question:	Are the filters washable/reusable? How much use are you getting before they need to be replaced
Answer:	I read the comments below... As I am getting ready to order new filters. I have had this system for approximately 3 months and even ordered a replacement package of filters when I purchased it. I appreciate the suggestions as I have found the filters need to be replaced more often than noted. I have found this system to work well my only complaint is with the filters. I do laundry for my husband and I ..so not what I consider to be a lot. If possible, I believe the screen used with the filter should be smaller allowing more of the lint to be trapped by it instead of the filter.
Question:	Does the unit need to be mounted on a wall or can it be laid on the top of the dryer
Answer:	Mine isn't mounted but it rather wedged between the dryer and the wall. Because it's waterless I believe you could lay it or possibly lean it if you wanted.
Question:	I just noticed that the box said for Electric Dryers. Does that mean it will not work with my Gas Dryer
Answer:	I am glad I read all these answers, they were very helpful. Now I know for my application this product will work great. I am installing a Gas Dryer on a back porch with an awning over it. The vent line is difficult to run cleanly away from the porch. I was concerned about all that lint, but I believe since I am exterior, no fume issues in an enclosed indoor space, this product should serve me well. Does anyone force any issues? Thanks

Question:	How do you keep the exhaust air from leaking through the front of this trap? It doesn't make a perfect seal
Answer:	Most installations I am aware of cover all seams / joints with either duct tape or Aluminum foil insulation tape. I used the foil tape and it works great. Question:	If I install this face down in the ceiling, is the cover fastened tight enough not to fall out
Answer:	The cover snaps in quite tightly. However, the lint will fall in your face every time you open it if it’s ceiling mounted. Also, it’s not totally airsealed. I would think it would be quite dusty.
Question:	I also don’t plan on using a booster fan. I just plan on cleaning it after every load of laundry. Is that ok to do
Answer:	I used it without a booster in our basement because the dryer vent was over 30' long. Works great. Just keep it cleaned out as you plan to.
