| Answer: | The outside should be about 3/16 over the 2 1/4. That said the outside could differ depending on if there is a slight wobble or the person holding the drill. If you use a drill press and the chuck is true, the hole should be 2 1/4 + 3/16. That's the best I can do. Buy the hole saw and cut three holes in a scrap piece of material and mic it out. |
