Answer:	Only just after applying. This is by far the best wood floor cleaner I have found and it makes your home smell incredible. I have even bought it for the office I work at. When using Smart Clean in a carpet cleaner, make sure you use considerably less than the dilution of the "light cleaning" instructions on the bottle. We would recommend 1/2 oz per quart, other wise you will get too many bubbles and will take going over the carpet more times to remove all the solution. We have mainly seen Smart Clean used as a spot remover. It works very well for this. There are so many different carpet cleaners, it is hard to say how Smart Clean would work in all of them.
