Cleaning your CPAP machine

Use a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly with cool water. Keep the tube as straight as possible and gently work the brush in a back and forth motion, in short strokes, gradually working further inside the tube.



Avoid aggressive use when cleaning. The fan tipped brush will reduce stress to tubing walls. However, it is recommended the CPAP tube be kept straight as possible during cleanings to avoid unnecessary wear or damage.



When done cleaning, thoroughly rinse tube with a stream of cool water, Gently pat the bristles until dry to the touch and hang somewhere where there is air circulation. Carefully loosen and straighten tube brush, maintaining a hold on both ends. Once unwound, we suggest finding somewhere to hang the brush.

Answer:	I bought this because I had heard that the petroleum jelly I had been using was not safe to breathe. This product lists no petroleum jelly in the ingredients, nor alcohol, nor any other caustic sounding ingredient. This creme does 2 things for me 1) it prevents chapping or rash caused by friction of your mask on your skin: 2)it helps create an airtight seal so your mask doesn’t leak when you are going to sleep or sleeping. Question:	The memory foam cpap mask says that you should not use alcohol while cleaning it. Do these wipes contain alcohol
Answer:	I do not see alcohol listed as an ingredient on the package.
Question:	Would Clorox wipes also work
Answer:	My provider told me never to use Clorox wipes.
Question:	My husband uses the full face mask version of the resmed. i would like to purchase him the appropriate soclean product. what do you recommend
Answer:	I just use vinegar and distilled water in a plastic cup. I used these wipes a few times but they did not seem wet enough. But my breathing equipment is the dreamwisp and not a full face one. I can remove the nose piece from the head gear. My neighbors who have a full mask use the so clean machine to clean their equipment. They are pleased with it. Hope this helps

Answer:	There is nothing on the label stating that it is. I'm not sure why it would be, it's not a food or drug. I would hope no one would try to eat them. 🙂
