Answer:	That is correct. I placed bracing boards the same thickness as my baseboard behind the beam that secures the frame to the wall at the top of the cabinet to compensate, which worked perfectly. The instructions say to cut your baseboard out, but I rent, so that wasn't an option.

Answer:	Wish I could say, but I haven't tried the Thersage and don't know anyone who has. The Thermotex works very well for me as I am on my second one after using the first one for up to a couple of hours every day for over 4 years, well made and effective. Whenever I get a lot of pain in my back or legs I use this and it provides quick relief. Good luck.

Answer:	It is good of you to ask. This is a Calgary, Alberta, Canada product. There a few dealers in the US, lots more in Canada. The electrical components are made in Canada, Thermotex having a Calgary Alta address. The cover is made in China. The "face" of the cover is 100% nylon, sort of like a velveteen. The backing is 50% nylon and 50% cotton. This is all according to the tag on my Thermotex Platinum. It comes with two velcro straps; a small one which I use for knees, etc. and a larger one for backs, hips, and so on. This is a very sturdy pad, and I very much like what it does for me.
