Question:	Is the 6.5x11 busy or flat? Looking for one to lay on for back pain
Answer:	They're all flat and most people can lay on them just fine - if too cold, just take a hand towel, run it in hot water, and then put it over the pack before laying on it - allows you to "ease" into the cold. Also, try strengthening your multifidus muscles for your back pain - see Jim Johnson's stenosis book.

Answer:	I have used these for years The reason they say don’t lay on it is more than likely the fact that the pressure forces more cold to the skin. I usually put mine in a pillowcase and wrap the e tea length of the pillowcase around the cold pack or place it inside a folded towel. I have never had problems. This is the way they used them for me in PT.

Answer:	The packs are a little flexible but mostly solid. The plastic that they used is stiff but it’s still soft enough to use when on your body when hurt or to put in a lunch box to keep food cold for a short period of time.

Answer:	I have not used it on a child but it goes behind the ear, if you can put it on without them knowing what you are doing, they may not know it is there, i have forgot to take mine off in the past then realize a day or so later it is still on, it does not come off real easy so I have never had one fall off, it curbs motion sickness for 3 days using the same patch, so if I know my travels will be 3 days, I just leave it on during the trip. Question:	How long do these packs stay warm after microwaving to use for heat
Answer:	I don't know whether heat or cold applied to forehead is good for migraine relief. I never tried it for mine. However, yes, the strap could be wrapped and secured, using the Velcro, around your head. Yes, the 3 pads would overlap your forehead because it is big enough to go across the lower back.

Answer:	The gel is not removable but it probably most of the unit. It folds up and does not take up much space in the freezer.

Answer:	My waist is 52 and it requires most of the stretch to get both Velcro ends to lay over each other, but it does. It does a great job for delivering heat to my piriformis while allowing me complete mobility.

Answer:	After freezing the pack for at least 4 hours prior to use, the entire 7x28" pack should freeze and stay cold for at least 20 minutes. Doctors recommend icing injuries and pains for no longer than that as prolonged exposure could cause damage to the skin.

Answer:	initially perhaps an hour or 2, then i just leave it in the freezer for when i need it.
