Answer:	I can only comment on the 1900. For my needs it's perfect. I needed a router with long range, my house is apprx 3000sq with multiple floors. Certain areas of the house fell out of the range of my old Linksys. With the 1900 all my devices generate a full signal anywhere in the house and even outside in the back yard. The 1900 appears to handle multiple devices with no degradation of signal or speed. Since you didn't say what your needs are I can't comment further.

Answer:	the Archer C90 is a new edition of Archer C1900, and the software functions of the 2 routers are the same while the sales channel may be different. for example, A9 is available for the online stores only, like Amazon or so. Archer C90 supports fat32、ntfs、exfat、hfs+, A9 supports NTFS,FAT32 only.

Question:	Can systems like these be linked in a line? I mean instead of the satellite units having to be within range of the router, can I daiseychain them out
Answer:	Regardless if Orbi can be daisy chained with wired cable ... if you can daisy chain routers, why not just set up an AP system. If you can hard wired the AP, there is no need for Orbi and you get much better performance. As to daisy chaining Orbi, yes, you can do that.. but that defeats the purpose of using Orbi. The main technological advantage with Orbi is its ability to have a 3rd backhaul channel through wireless connection. If you can using hard wired... just go with the proven WLAN AP (http://pigtail.azurewebsites.net/tp-link/large-building.PNG)... my organization use it to deploy over 200 wireless devices on the same lan without much overhead degradation.
Question:	Is it 100 - 240 Volts
Answer:	It all depends upon where you buy it. In the USA it is supplied with 115V power supplies one for the router and one each for the Satellites, this is OK of you live in the USA or somewhere where they have 115v power in the homes. If you live in the UK buy them in the UK they come with 240v power supplies, so they are OK for the UK, but come with the UK 3 pin sockets. In Europe theu come with two pin European adaptors suitable for Europes 220 v power. The problem is if you buy it in one country and want to run it in another. Netgear do not sell the power supplies separately. I bought mine in the Black Friday sales in the USA and brought them to the UK. I had to buy power supplies from Germany that were suitable for 240 volts and adaptors for continental to UK sockets. Be careful, you ned to know exactly what the pin size is the pin lengt and the pin inside and pouside diameters. To save you hassle you need Plug-in power supply unit, 12 V, 1000 mA, with -ve polarity on the outside The pin that plugs into the ORBI should be 5.5mm outside diameter and the socket 2.5mm inside diam. The length of the pin is 12mm.

Answer:	As of April/late May 2018, the latest firmware 2.1.4.10 has not only broken ethernet backhaul, but it also takes down your entire network such that no device can connect to the Internet if you leave the ethernet cable connected to satellite. There is no way to disable auto update of the firmware. I have had an open support case for nearly one month and have spent many, many hours in that time trying to troubleshoot. Never had this kind of issue with my Airport Extremes, which is no longer made, so I thought Orbi would be a good replacement given all the positive professional reviews. Question:	I recently upgraded to Verizon gigabit and the modem router they give is lackluster. Does this just connect via Ethernet to the modem
Answer:	Yes. Connect the R7800 to the FiOS router (they don't use modems) by attaching an ethernet cable to one of the FiOS router's LAN ports, and the other end to any of the ports on the R7800. Then set up the R7800 in AP mode, and disable the Wifi of the FiOS router (not critical, but neater). The FiOS router will assign all the IP addresses, and the R7800 will provide wireless services. Works like a charm. You can use the LAN ports of both the FiOS router and the R7800 for wired connections.
Question:	Is this device able to plug and play via ethernet cable from my cable modem to extend my cable wifi range
Answer:	Yes. All of these Netgear routers can either be used as range extenders OR wired into becoming the primary internet source for your home. The latter is actually recommended, if your cable modem is basic and/or sends a weaker than warranted WiFi signal.

Answer:	I don't own this router, but I'd agree with Apollo Grace. Anything that's going to be using this ethernet port will be bottlenecked at 100Mbit maximum. If you're just using this for WiFi only or if you don't mind a maximum speed of 100Mbit on the ethernet port, then buy it. But there are similar products out there for the same price range with Gigabit ports allowing the full WiFi speed to go through the ethernet ports. https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-AC1200-Smart-WiFi-Router/dp/B01IUDUJE0 (TP-Link Archer C1200) for example, and it's cheaper.

Answer:	Check your firmware, including satellites. There was an update (V1.0.4.96_2.0.41) to resolve 2.4 device drops. The MR .chk file is different from the satellite (MS) updates. I didn't see anything for 5ghz issues.

Answer:	What you are probably looking at us a modem/router list, not a router list. This does not have a modem, so make sure you have a modem before buying this. If what you have now is s modem/router, do not connect this to that. It takes technical knowledge to make this work using another router. You need to buy a modem, activate that modem with spectrum and then connect this to the modem.
Question:	Can this be wall-mounted or ceiling mounted
Answer:	There is a wall mount that can be purchased separately for this device. I mounted one satellite and placed the other on a flat surface. I’m not fond of the wall mount for it but it works.

Answer:	My TP-Link products, including my Wi-Fi router, operate 'solidly'. I don't use 'Smart Connect', because my devices did not ask for, nor do they deserve, a buffet of choices. I do not use automatic channel, because I am waiting for automatic empty channel. As to Alexa, I bought a new Amazon fire tablet for My Lady, a 70 year old retired school teacher. The included Silk Internet browser is perfectly adequate for installing Chrome. I downloaded about 25 APKs and finally got the correct ones, in the correct order, which lead to upgrades and yada, yada. THAT gave her, her bookmarks and passwords!!! in Chrome. WELL, I cleaned up her Home page by putting just about everything into a folder1. And I left Alexa out there! She has Amazon Music on an Amazon tablet, and the Alexa is sitting on her home page. I am a Kindle and actual books reader and I left that on her home page, although she probably hasn't read a book in half a century. I can put her on Amazon Music on her own pages/playlists/favorites, but alas, my digital library cannot be shared without more work than I am willing to do, and I just side loaded APKs to load Chrome on an Amazon fire tablet. Still, she's going to make Alexa work for her, with timers and alarms and weather and Amazon Music, maybe.
