Answer:	It has timer for it to cut off after 4 hrs.

Question:	do you need oils
Answer:	You can just use water, if you want to use it as a humidifier. This does not include the essential oils; you will have to buy those seperatly. It is worth buying the oils though.
Question:	how long it would work on a single fill up
Answer:	I think some people are getting confused as to the functions. Pushing once to green is intermittent mode. It diffuses 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off and runs for up to 6 hours. However, mine is still running after 8 hours. It auto shuts off when water is almost gone. Push twice to red or continuous mode and it runs continually for 3 hours then auto shuts off. I started mine at 1am in green intermittent mode and it’s 8:45 and still running. But no complaints here!

Answer:	You can turn off the color lights. But the function light especially the green is very bright if you are sensitive to light when you sleep this will be bothersum. I used black electrical tape to round the bottom of the lid to block out most the green light. It will do rather than returning to buy a more expensive item.

Question:	does it fill the room with scent
Answer:	Not sure I have your exact answer, but I do have 2 units and I am very happy with them both. I have a large master bedroom with a small sitting room and a big master bath and it permeates the room. If I leave the door open to my master and place the diffuser near the door, as I usually do, then it fills most of the upstairs hallway (its an open catwalk upstairs) and my bedroom. Downstairs I have one towards the front of the room where it can spread and the smell reaches my kitchen, family room, formal dining room (the diffuser is across from it) and ever so lightly in the formal living room. There are two things that need to be considered: rather that the size of the room, the placement of the device. In my experience where you place them (air flow from ac, open area, clear path for mist to flow) is of far greater importance then anything else. Ensure you place it somewhere that the device can be clear of obstructions not next to a wall maybe on an open table where the air can flow freely or under an ac vent so the mist can be carried. The second important factor deals all about the oil. 1- What is the scent of the oil? Some scents are fainter than others and you may be hard pressed to smell it in even a small room, let alone a larger area. 2- How much of the oil do you use? The suggested quantity of oil in my opinion does not always render the effects I am wanting. I use primarily tea tree oil for a scent and lavender oil. I use with a full container of water 2 dropper fulls of essential oil and it permeates everywhere no problem. 3- The quality of the oil you are buying? This is super important because many oils, even those that say pure are not 100% that ingredient but rather a mix of different oils and that will change the strength of the odor. I only buy 100% pure oil there are no added oils to supplement such as jojoba or sunflower seed oils. Mine say under the ingredient list 100% lavender or 100% peppermint etc. Etc. More than you bargained for I’m sure, but I hope it helps. :) please excuse any typos
Question:	can you turn the lights off
Answer:	Dear customer, we kindly suggest you to wash the tank by clean water added with diluted vinegar. During cleaning, please notice to shake the tank gently and do not wet the bottom electric part. If the diffuser will not be used for a long time, please don' t forget to pour out the water and keep it dry. Thanks for asking:)

Answer:	I dump out the little bit of water that left in it and wipe it out with paper towels. I usually will run a tank of just water thru it before changing the scent of oil.

Answer:	You can use it safely overnight. It will probably run about 4 to 6 hours and then shut off automatically. It will do the job while you rest. Hope that answers your question.
Question:	Parden my ignorance, but can you is this as a humidifier without oils
Answer:	Technically yes. It does put out a mist kind of like a humidifier, but not like a traditional humidifier. It's a pretty small unit and I refill mine every night(I also use oils but that doesn't make a difference), but prefer it that way. It's very compact and I know filling it often keeps it clean, unlike big humidifiers that need filters, etc. I definitely recommend this unit!
Question:	Does this also work as an air purifier? I see reviews that mention "purifying properties" of their oils, but not that the unit purifies the air
Answer:	I don't see how it could, but I really can't say. I use On Guard essential oils from doTerra, which purifies the air. I like that this has the option of running for a minute or so and then stops for 30 seconds and then repeats....it can last all night that way. If you choose the option to constantly run, it doesn't last all night. I'm overall really happy with it!
