1. CEA-2006 Compliant — Standardized “Voluntary” Testing & Measurement Methods for Mobile Audio Amplifiers. This standard advocates a uniform method for determining an amplifier’s RMS power and signal-to-noise ratio. Using 14.4 volts, RMS watts are measured into a 4-ohm impedance load at 1 percent Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) plus noise, at a frequency range (for general purpose amplifiers) of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz.

User questions & answers
Question: | Hello, what is the differences between this xm-gs4 and the older xm-gs400? because they look the same and they both making the same power |
Answer: | My experience is that size of sponge varies when you get more than one. They say 4-5” but at least 2 of the 4 pack I got were less than that. Maybe 2-5” would be a better estimate. When I bought the single one it was a good size. |
Question: | Does it have a built in cooling fan |
Answer: | These do not have active noise canceling. They will block out some to most background noise with sufficient volume like any other pair of headphones. |
Question: | Please explain Hi Res and how an amplifier has anything to do with it |
Answer: | I don't know for sure, however, when wearing the headset, I do not hear other noises. The headset is well padded. I use the headset for watching T.V. only, so I don't know how it would do just for music. This headset lets me watch T.V. after everyone else is asleep, and the sound does not escape out of the headset. I really like this product. |
Question: | I have a 2019 Elantra with a infinity speaker system will this Sony work fine or do I need to do something special |
Answer: | They require no additional/external battery whatsoever. |

Question: | Where i can buy 230v version subwoofer online |
Answer: | Do you mean 230v (a single phase of three phase)? Or are you really talking about 240v (home, 2 phases of 120v). Either way I doubt you could find one. |
Question: | Could another second powered sub be connect to this one |
Answer: | Hi Sly_Shadow, Thank you so much for your inquiry. Unfortunately, no. The SA-CS9 115W 10” Active Subwoofer usually connect to an amplifier or AV receiver that supports one or both of the following connections: - MONO OUT jack - MIX OUT jack - SUBWOOFER output jack(s) - SUPER WOOFER output jack(s) • You can also connect an amplifier or AV receiver if it does not have the above-mentioned output jacks to the SPEAKER IN terminals of the subwoofer. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Romeo |
Question: | I have a 1994 sony str-d1015 home theater receiver but with no sub output in the back and i'm wondering how i would go about connecting this woofer to |
Answer: | You would simply run the wires from the left and right output of your receiver to the input of this subwoofer, then conenct both the left and right speakers to the output of the subwoofer. |
Question: | I have a yamaha r-s202, with 2 book shelf speakers in the A channel, can I just run the sub in B |
Answer: | Thanks for your question. If you have a sub with speaker level input you could probably get away with that. World Wide Stereo is 37 years old and a very proud Sony dealer. |

Question: | Tv has amazon and netflix. when i turn the receiver to tv mod and try to watch either netflix or amazon i can get the picture but no sound. thoughs |
Answer: | I have not heard a 3500, and I own a 4500. According to this reference (https://www.avsforum.com/forum/90-receivers-amps-processors/2973392-official-2018-denon-s-series-x-series-avr-owner-s-thread-faq-posts-1-8-a.html) what the 4500 adds over 3500 is below. Looks like the 3500 does not have AL32 processing, which is significant imo. Also the 3500 will not get the "IMAX Enhanced" certification & modes coming to the X4500 and 6500 (no one knows if those are any good, but worth noting). --- Upgrading from the X3500H adds: 2 additional on board amps for 9CH on board processing (ie. 7.1.2 or 5.1.4; with capability to expand to 11CH processing (ie. 7.1.4) using an external 2CH amp), 11.2 main zone pre-outs, Zone 3 (same inputs as Zone 2 except not HDMI), a 2nd 12v trigger, front panel display of speaker inputs (or outputs), metal front panel with 2 line display, Custom 2 CH main zone settings (using FL/FR or dedicated Front B; LARGE/SMALL; crossover settings, sub – on/off, distance, level), two internal cooling fans, Auro 3D/Auromatic, AL32 Processing, Bass Sync; Remote Control able to store preset codes from other mfr devices (see below) and the ability to add Auro 3D Voice of God/Top Surround via the Subwoofer pre-out 2 only. Audyssey (but not Dynamic EQ, Dynamic Volume, LFC) enabled when DTS Virtual:X is selected. --- |
Question: | Found a bug. when playing music and i turn on the tv, gets stuck in muting/unmuting loop until a reboot. dae see this |
Answer: | Will not pass through 4k @ 120Hz or 8k @ 60Hz do to a bottleneck of the Panasonic chip used. This impacts the all the 2020 Denon AVRs and most mfg claiming HDMI 2.1 compatible. The work around us to connect your pc or console directly to your HDMI 2.1 TV and use the TVs eARC back to the AVR. Even then not all TVs pass lossless via eARC equally. |
