WHAT GSM MEANS AND WHY IS SO IMPORTANT

GSM stands for grams per square meter. This is the standard measurement for the weight of any towel. It refers to density. Heavier towels are softer and more absorbent. The normal weight can vary between 300 GSM and 900 GSM. Any towel above 600 GSM is a premium, luxury product.

Question:	What are the bath towel sizes
Answer:	It could. It’s nicely made - thick sturdy ceramic so it wouldn’t be my choice to drink out of but you could.
Question:	Are towels made in USA
Answer:	No, but it astonishes me that you would ask. I bought it to use as a tumbler in my bathroom because it matches my soap and hand lotion dispensers. It's such a small item and so easy to just hand wash in the bathroom that I'd never think of using a dishwasher. I use the same detergent that I use on my shower to remove soap and prevent hard water deposits. I live in the southwest where the water is very alkaline. I'd never bother using a dishwasher. Furthermore, the bottom has a pad to prevent it scratching the counter. I'm sure after dishwasher cleaning you'll eventually ruin the pad.
Question:	Can I exchange one of your large towels that frayed badly after the first wash? The rest are good
Answer:	Top is 3 1/8 inches. Bottom is just a hair over 2 1/2 inches. There is a thin rubber ring 2 1/8 diameter I guess to soften the interface with the counter top or so it is non-slip.

Answer:	I also hate plush towels. These are better than any towels I have found in stores. I would not call them rough, but they are very absorbent.

Question:	Are these towels very absorbent? I've bought too many towels which seem to just smush the water around
Answer:	I just ordered these towels for my guest bath. Hope they are absorbent.I see some reviews say they are not. Does everyone know you do not use fabric softener on towels. It makes fabric not absorbent. PS This is why Queen Elizabeth has her towels ironed. They know not to use fabric softener, thus, have to iron them! I don't iron mine of course but all my towels are absorbent.

Answer:	They are soft. I've washed them several times and they still feel nice. They aren't as soft as the spa brand ones, but that should be expected given their affordable price.

Answer:	All non-white towels will bleach out if you apply chlorine bleach. You can use a color-safe bleach like Chlorox 2. Unless u buy white, don’t use chlorine bleach. (I didn’t buy these towels yet but am a laundry savant so had to answer ur question)! :)
