Answer:	Watts are not Volts. This does not use a cord the plugs into a 220/240-Volt outlet. It runs on 4 each AAA batteries only.
Question:	How does this compare to a tens unit prescribed by a doctor
Answer:	My TENS, prescription, has 16 modes, adjustable speeds, frequencies, and strength. I do not have to restart every 30 minutes. I have a specialized treatment regimen to treat my chronic pain. Answer:	NO. I love this thing. My hip & back wakes me up at 4:30am and I put this on and stay in bed until 6:30. Feel good all day most times or put it back on. I have pockets in my PJs for this unit. I did not get free pads. But please feel free to send me some for this review. The pads get a little "stingy" when overused. THe battery placement is tricky . . won't work unless they are just so . . .

Answer:	The pads have their own adhesive. If you clean your skin with rubbing alcohol before you attach them, and then when you are done, put them back on the sheet your removed them from, you will get good use from them. Some people get more use than others because each persons skin will produce different amounts of oil, thus lowering the adhesion of the pad. The pads can be bought here on Amazon.
