Answer:	Theoretically, it could work, but it would really depend on what position you wanted to be in. Fully extended, the arm is only about 18" long, so if you wanted to lay on your back and use it with your tablet hovering over your head, it would work as long as you're laying with your head close enough to the wall.

As long as you don't move it around too much or bump it, then it stays for the most part. If I knew this beforehand, then I probably wouldn't have gotten it.

Answer:	The tablet does not get screwed into the stand, and you don't have to screw the stand into anything necessarily. There are holes in the stand so that you can screw it down. I use the stand in a business, and it's sturdy enough without mounting to anything. Hope that helps
