Answer:	yes, you can easily attach the film to the inside casing with thin strips of metal oil duct tape.
Question:	Can this material handle nails or screws against wood without tearing
Answer:	You'll get good results if you wrap it around a thin strip of wood before nailing so that the plastic won't split out from the nail hole. I secure my windows wraps with clear packing tape and it works fine.

Answer:	Have not tried that with this product. Many years ago I used a similar product whose directions said to use a hair dryer. This product not have such a direction so I didn't try it.

Answer:	I don’t think it’s intended to work that way. However, you may be able to insert a spacer to equal the offset behind the top piece.

Answer:	It is with SRS Hardware. They sell a stainless version and the window/screen part separately.

Answer:	These are actually designed to be used for screens and allow you to unhook the bottom of the screen and tilt outward to remove it. So yes it will pivot to some degree. It sounds like you have a window that pivots open and feel the gap between the window and your existing screen isn't great enough to give the amount of opening you desire. Again, I'm not sure how your existing screen is attached or may not understand exactly what you're trying to achieve. If I'm missing the point please don't hesitate to clarify.

Answer:	The exact window size is 31-3/4" x 13-3/4". The nailing flange is approx 1/2" all the way around. It is not a structural part of the window so it is not included in the listed measurement. For new construction you would mount the window by screwing through the nailing flange. For remodeling applications this nailing flange can be scored and removed (similar to the way that drywall is scored and cracked). For remodeling applications you would screw and attach the window using the sidewall channel.

Answer:	These windows come with new installation that means there's a tab all the way around the window you'll have to use a hackzall and trim close to the framing then that window should fit that opening if it's not out of square
