Answer: No, they're not. I specifically ordered them for that reason, and, unfortunately, can't pull them up past my calfs.

Answer: Only if you punched another hole. It would buldge and wouldn't look as good. And that would only reduce the top which is 18.25". These are not for 15" calves unless you like them really loose over very thick jeans.
Question: Does this come in a plain box? I want it to be a surprise
Answer: Just got mine. I am a 5' 3.5 inch woman. My right calf is 17.5" inches exactly. I ordered the size 10W. Which is my usual size. The top opening is 18.25" but the calf is 17.25. So I have to return them. The are also longer in the foot. More like a 10.5 or 11. The width fit my wide foot though. But the ancle is loose and baggy and didn't feel wonderful. The left one fit because my left calf is 17". The boot is definitely a knee high. The top cut into the bend behind my knee when I sat down. So if you have size 17" calf with thicker ancles with longer legs than me, order half a size down and these will work for you. They are really cute and I love the color and feel of the fabric and the sole seems nice. Wish they fit my weird body.

Answer: I would like to know that myself. My left boot fell apart and the seller did not respond when I contacted them.

Question: This is made of glass so does it break easily? Especially hanging from a tree
Answer: Thanks for your great question. This is a ceramic frame with a cardboard-like backing. I wouldn't recommend it for use outside. Hope this helps.
