14 best sdhc memory card

SDHC, or Secure Digital High Capacity, is a type of memory card commonly used for storing digital data in various electronic devices, including cameras, camcorders, smartphones, tablets, and more. It is a variation of the standard SD (Secure Digital) card and offers higher storage capacities compared to regular SD cards. Here are some key points about SDHC memory cards:

  1. Storage Capacity: SDHC cards typically come in capacities ranging from 4 gigabytes (GB) to 32 GB, with some older cards going up to 64 GB. This allows users to store a substantial amount of photos, videos, music, and other files.

  2. File System: SDHC cards use the FAT32 file system, which is compatible with most devices, making it easier to transfer data between different platforms.

  3. Speed Class: SDHC cards are classified into different speed classes, such as Class 2, Class 4, Class 6, and Class 10, indicating their minimum sustained write speeds in megabytes per second (MB/s). Higher speed class cards are suitable for tasks like high-definition video recording and fast data transfer.

  4. Physical Size: SDHC cards have the same physical dimensions as standard SD cards, measuring 32mm x 24mm x 2.1mm. They can be used in devices that support both SD and SDHC cards.

  5. Compatibility: Most modern devices support SDHC cards, but it's essential to check your device's specifications to ensure compatibility. Older devices that only support standard SD cards may not work with SDHC cards.

  6. Data Protection: SDHC cards often come with a write-protect switch, which allows you to lock the card to prevent accidental data deletion or overwriting. This feature is handy for protecting important files.

  7. Usage: SDHC cards are commonly used for storing photos, videos, music, and other files in various consumer electronics. They are frequently used in digital cameras, camcorders, gaming consoles, and some laptops.

  8. Replacement for SD Cards: SDHC cards have largely replaced standard SD cards in the market due to their higher capacity and better performance. However, it's essential to check your device's compatibility before upgrading to an SDHC card.

  9. Transfer Speed: The read and write speeds of SDHC cards can vary depending on their speed class and manufacturer. Faster cards are better suited for tasks that require quick data access, such as capturing high-resolution photos or recording HD videos.

In summary, SDHC memory cards are a popular choice for expanding storage in a wide range of electronic devices. They offer increased capacity and speed compared to standard SD cards, making them suitable for various multimedia applications. When purchasing an SDHC card, it's crucial to consider the card's capacity, speed class, and compatibility with your device to ensure optimal performance.

User questions & answers

Question: Does this work with Nikon D
Answer: Unless the S7 asks for a specific SD card, this will work.
Question: Hate to even ask this, but is everyone absolutely sure that there are no fake cards in this pipeline of delivery
Answer: It works for the switch. Step 1. Pop the stand and you should be able to insert the chip Step 2. Switch should automatically restart Step 3. Switch is going to ask to update so you click yes that way the switch can recognize the card. Step 4. You are done, go to setting so you can double check and if yes it will show how much storage you have Step 5. If it says not recognize, go back to the steps you did something wrong.
Question: Does this work with nikon D
Answer: You have to find your mini sd card port on your phone. Mine is on the top left edge of the phone. Use a paperclip and press it into the hole to open. The card will only go one way.
Question: It says it is temperature proof, will it work in negative degree weather
Answer: Check YouTube for some video instructions. Im not a tech genius but it was pretty self explanatory to install this in my phone so it should be too hard for you. Good luck

User questions & answers

Question: Is this good for a long range camera like a nikon p
Answer: Sorry about that I hope you didn't let that answer get to you. If you still need a card make sure your speed is 80mb at the least, sdhc uhs-1. If you have a camera with dual sd card slots get 2 32gb sd cards that way you have a backup if one card fails or gets stolen
Question: does it work with Nikon
Answer: When answering some people are forgetting (or don't know) Amazon is combining all versions of a product together. If you're talking about the 32GB or less, yes, it will work. The 64GB or more, no, it won't. The card must be SDHC and formatted as FAT32. Right now, I have a Transcend 32GB card in my 3DS and it works fine. The same should be true for other brands. My 3DS came with a Samsung 4GB SDHC card. I rarely use more than about 10GB on the card. I do backup the card to my PC (copy the entire card to a folder on my PC). I also remove image files that I don't need to keep on the 3DS and copy those to my PC - leaving what I need on the 3DS. The image viewer can be slow if there are several images to load. The MP3 player can also take awhile to start if you keep several files on the card. Once it's loaded, the music player works fine. Do keep that in mind. I have the original 3DS and it's not the fastest system if you plan to work with several files for music or photos. However, since I often have the 3DS with me, I do keep some files on the card the 3DS can't use but can be handy to have. The 32GB card isn't complete overkill. I can keep my resume on it or other files. I just pull the card out and put it in my laptop or PC and access these files if I need to. The 3DS will simply ignore these files.
Question: I am going to shoot a wedding in 2 weeks... do you think this card would work? Is there something better
Answer: No, it won't fit in GoPro. GoPro Hero takes miniSD; this is a full-size SD. (I own a GoPro 9 Black, a Hero 3, and a Hero 4. I can't be 100% positive about the other models, but on these, I am sure.)
Question: Works with nintendo 3DS
Answer: Im using X-T2, and it works fine. 👍🏼

User questions & answers

Question: My computer/card reader does not recognize this card, no error code, nothing. Used it with Nikon 3300 should be compatible. Suggestions
Answer: Just a guess, but you might need to change the formatting. Awhile back I bought a 128GB microSD card to use in an Android tablet that says the largest card it can take is 32GB. 32GB cards typically come pre-formatted FAT32 and cards higher come pre-formatted EXFAT. Windows can't natively format partitions larger than 64GB as FAT32 but third-party software is available for free that can. I reformatted the 128GB card as FAT32 and it works fine. That version of Android doesn't recognize EXFAT. (Before I bought the card I knew I would probably need to reformat it.)
Question: will this card work on my cannon t6i camera
Answer: I recently purchased this card for my t6i; however, my camera doesn't recognize the card. I've tried to format it to no avail. As a result, I will use it on my laptop to store images.
Question: I purchased a canon sx720 for an upcoming alaska cruise. i want to take come video on the cruise. is this a good sdhc for videoing
Answer: Yes, I use this csrd for video, shooting 1080p to 4K, the 90 MB’s down load and upload speed helps a lot during transferring and editing my data.
Question: what's the difference between this sandisk card and the sandisk extreme pro 32gb up to 95mb/s uhs-i/u3 sdhc flash memory card - sdsdxpa-032g-x
Answer: I'm not 100% sure but I think they are the same. One has a "V30" Video Class rating printed on the label and the other does not. I think the V30 is a fairly new type of card speed rating for videos. The Speed Class and UHS Speed Class are the same for both which leads to me think they are the same. For some info on video ratings: https://www.sdcard.org/consumers/choices/speed_class/index.html
Question: Can i access itunes on this? i want a gaming laptop, but i’d also like to be able to access itunes when i need to. thanks
Answer: Yes, you can.
Question: can i stream of this laptop
Answer: Yes
Question: does it come with a charger
Answer: Yes it does.
Question: can I upgrde the ram to 32gb
Answer: You can, you just have to very carefully disassemble the bottom of the laptop and disconnect the battery pack.

Answer: Yep
Question: Does this only work with dlrss
Answer: No. It works with all cameras, including the mirrorless and DSLRs
Question: I purchashed a sandisk extreme on june 30, 2020. trying to transfer images everything chased. i can't find my images on the disk now. please help
Answer: Lots of other questions here, 1st what are you using to try to view the card contents? I use a USB card reader, I go to File Explorer on my computer, click on it which brings up a menu on the far left side at the bottom of that menu is USB Drive (E:) and under that is a folder - DCIM, if you click on that folder on the right hand side of my screen another folder pops up and if you click on that it should display everything on the card, after that you simply click on an individual file to view or open it. If nothing is listed under DCIM when you open it the files weren't saved or you have some other issue with the card. I don't know if that helps but that's how it works on my computer with Windows 10 Home Edition.
Question: I'm always afraid to buy sandisk memory cards in so called "frustration free packaging". How does one trust the card is legit
Answer: really you should avoid frustration free packaging. it could easily be a repackaged card that is not the real thing. if your worried about this always use standard.

User questions & answers

Question: will these work on my Nikon D40 camera
Answer: They should.
Question: Do they come with plastic Sade’s
Answer: We ship these retailed packed, but we also ship plastic jewel case with them Regards, Memoryten.
Question: Will these cards record video
Answer: For AVCHD video it should be fine. This is the format in which most consumer video is recorded, up to 28 megabits per second. But with higher grade cameras, these cards will not work. I tried with my Sony video camera using XAVC HD and the camera refuses to record to it even though I tell the camera to record at 35 megabits, which is below the claimed 40 mbps rating.
Question: each memory is in retail package
Answer: Yes, in separate sealed packages, just like you would find at Best Buy.
