Answer:	You can't. Sorry. I use mine alot. When I fully charge it I can usually leave it on charge for quite awhile. But not always, 2 to 3 hours will usually do it. But sometimes I have to use it one time after another for gallon cans. It it does run completely down on a gallon can. AndI can plug it in ASAP and in 10 to 15 minutes I can do another. Time after Time. But I always have a back up just in case.Hand can opener. Never know when something might go wrong. Or the electricity goes out :)

Answer:	There is no official capacity in the product information but I can estimate that it holds 3 to 3.5 quarts. This mill works very fast on cooked tomatoes. It is very easy to use and works very well.

Answer:	I know it works on raw tomatoes. Not too sure about apples but it should work.

Answer:	Although I no longer have the original packaging, I believe that the food mill is made in China by a German company. The quality reflects the German oversight of the production, in my opinion. It is definitely solidly made and has been durable in my experience.

Answer:	Yes, I had the same question. So, very carefully, I pulled the plastic blade (the flat plastic blade closest to the steel blades) downward and slowly worked it off using even pressure all around. Then I slipped off the safety cover. The plastic blade can then be reattached by re-aligning the ring. Thanks everyone for the advice.

Question:	Can thus be used to make applesauce
Answer:	Yes! It makes a wonderfully smooth applesauce. I wish I had gotten mine sooner. Wash, quarter and cook your apples first. Then put them through the top. It is so much easier than the old fashion hand cranked mill.
Question:	Can I use this for crushing grapes for home producing wine
Answer:	The users guide states it is not made for juicing grapes, or uncooked vegetables or fruits. That being said, If you cut up or mash the grapes first, It works fine. It is a more of a fruit/veggie saucer that removes seeds, peelings, etc. You do not get just juice, but depending on the type of a grape, more like a thin to thick sauce. You just need to strain it to get the juice out. Grape skins do break easily in this since there is nothing to cut them. If you cut them open they will juice just fine. I usually run my fruit through twice if the pulp (seeds and skins) are still very wet when they come out. The left over pulp is very dry after the second time. You may have to clean out the screen several times since the skins of some like to stick to the inside too. If you are making a large batch of juice, or don't have time to cut grapes and stop and clean the screen, I would suggest using a juicer made for grapes. You can also stomp or mash the grapes first, then you would have more of a mash that should work just fine. If you soften the fruit and skins by steaming or slightly cooking them, they work better too. Any fruit or vegetable that is not soft does not easily juice. I cut apples in 1/4s and steam them in a little bit of water till they are softer before saucing them for applesauce or apple juice. So, for a small amount of grapes, you are OK, for a large quantity, it would be a slow process.

Answer:	did not work with the large blackberries that typically come from thornless varieties. The berries get stuck at the tip. (I also used it on wild blackberries with smaller seeds and it worked fine for that)

Answer:	I have processed persimmons by hand, not with this product. If you freeze and thaw them a time or two to improve the flavor, as you should for *domestic* persimmons, not necessarily Asian ones, this should work a treat for skinning them. Any product which works for cherry, grape, campari, or other small tomatoes should work for this.

Yes it can be modded, but spring upgrades cost more than the blaster itself and you have to hack the plunger. I find this frustrating.

Answer:	It is not a turbo meat grinder, you place cut up pieces in and let it work. You cant stuff it or it will not work right. You can grind up a 2-3 lb sirloin steak in less than 5 min. I use a low setting on the kitchen aid mixer. From set up to clean up you can have sirloin burgers in less than 30 min

Answer:	Hi,not ideal for bones. as we know meat grinder attachment for stand mixer, is mainly designed for grinding lean meat, less fat, boneless, due to the limited power from stand mixer and small blade inside. Sometimes the meat will contain some small SOFT bones(not solid), like chicken breast, this Gvode grinder is able to grind but ensure the meat is cut into small strips or pieces, less than 25mm wide (diameter), bone less than 10mm thick and 15mm wide. For those hard bone like pork chops/loins or beef steak/ribs, surely cannot grind, not good to protect grinder and mixer machine itself.

Answer:	Very easy to take apart and put back together. The crusher part is a little tedious to scrub. If you have a dishwasher it probably would be easy.

Answer:	Hello Roxanne,It has to do with size and capability. The #3 is .3HP 400 Watts and Processes up to 300lbs per hour. The #5 is .4HP 600 Watts and processes up to 700lbs per hour. We do not carry any of the attachments for this machine.
