Answer:	Actually, they have a nice sound

Answer:	I purchased this kit a couple months ago. It's your standard 5 piece kit. Bass drum, snare, two ride toms and a floor tom. Crash and ride symbols.

Question:	Is this a good starter set for and adult/teen or is it more for little kids
Answer:	Whenever your looking at drum sets always check the sizes of the bass drum and toms... usually the bass drum will be a dead giveaway. Normally an adult size bass drum will start at an 18 inch bass and the biggest is 24.. but depth will depend on the player... Tom's range from 6 (which is really too small and even harder to hit) up too 13in, a 14 in would be considered a floor tom and I've seen floor Tom's at 16 in. So to have a bass drum at 16 inches is safe to say it's for a kid. My personal set ranges from 14 inch snare, my rack Tom's are 8in, 10, and 12 while my two floor toms are 14 and 16, I also have two bass drums one 22x16 and a 24x18... the reason for my different depths is the way I tune my set and I have a single pedal on the 22 and a direct drive on the 24x18 but it takes some kicking power to push the deep 24x18.. when playing gigs depending on the venue will determine which bass I bring. I'm not a huge fan of clutter (Tony Bozzio). When it comes to drums you get what you pay for... if the price is cheap and the kit comes with cymbals, stands, kick pedal, and a throne. Then it's safe to say it's either used or a crappy made drum set. Or in this case made for kids. But you can purchase a 3 piece and just add to it. I just wouldn't get some crazy off the wall color lol. Hope this helps.

Answer:	They are clear Ludwig heads. It comes with a drum key but if ur not good with tuning a drum tuner is a good idea. The cymbals are absolutely horrible. U will need new ones right away. Plus the throne sux too. I manage with it. But I will be def buying a new one soon. In the plus side they sound great once in tune. I luv my kit I can't stop playing it.

Answer:	The drums have very good sound and quality for its price. I haven't seen anything new or even most used that can match for this price. Don't pay extra to get the cymbals and plan to replace them immediately if they come included with the set. The cymbals are horrible.

Answer:	The worst that you can have. the snare & foot pedals are the lowest grade. I went to a box music store and picked up a $100 snare,$225 on a complete cymbal set and a $50 bass drum pedal. Good Luck, wear ear protection! and Man is it fun to play!!!!!

Question:	How many boxes is this delivered in
Answer:	If I recall, it was just one big box, there may have been one smaller one as well. All the shells inside of eachother..Unassembled. I almost immediately wanted to upgrade the cymbals, then swapped out the hi hat stand but all in.. I’m happy with the set.

Answer:	This makes a wonderful gift! I secretly bought the set for my dear wife for her birthday. While I was able to pull the surprise off, it was very hard. LARGE, very heavy boxes with very clear markings on the outside as to what it is. The only way you can pull this off is if you intercept the packages, are very strong to lug the boxes on your own, and have a large storage area to hide them in where your loved one does not go. All that said, my wife LOVES these drums, and I am extremely pleased with my purchase!
