Actually, whenever you press the click surface down (and note the entire touch surface is actually one big clickable button, not the design I'd have gone with, but whatever), it will always default to a left click if you are touching the left side of the touchpad, even if you are touching the right side with another finger (also, unlike a normal laptop touchpad, a 2 finger tap will not do a right-click). Note this also means you cannot do a right-click while resting your other fingers on the upper portion of the mouse like you could with a traditional mouse.

Question:	Is anyone else having problems with speaker interference? My laptop makes noise whenever I move this mouse
Answer:	I have had this issue occasionally over the years and found that to be caused by EMF on the motherboard bleeding into the onboard sound. It would go away if I plugged in a sound card and turned off the onboard sound. It was so bad on P3 board that I once had that moving graphics on the screen could be heard over the speakers! Since you have a laptop you can't always use an external audio device but have you tried other mice in the same USB port and noticed any difference?

If you buy the Sculpt Ergonomic desktop you will only need 1.
