Question:	Please tell me if this 1 more expensive lens could be used to obtain the similar quality images than 3 less expensive lenses that I am looking at -- 35mm prime f/2.4, 50mm prime f/1.8, the kit 18-55mm lens. I am on a budget and new to SLRs...thanks in advance
Answer:	It is not a fisheye lens. Lines appear fairly straight. I am a real estate broker and have liked using this lens to capture small spaces (bathrooms, pantries, closets, hallways, etc.).

Answer:	I haven't used the 35mm but i can assure you the image quality is better than the 50 f1.8 or the kit lens. This sigma will serve you well as a starter lens and actually shouldn't be something you immediately feel like upgrading. Primes are well and good if you are ready for them but zooms are better for starting out. if you test out different focal lengths you can find out what prime lenses will work best for you. you don't want to buy a 35mm just to find out you'd rather have a 24, etc.

Answer:	It should work but it's not the best choice. The 5D is a full frame camera, and the Sigma is for APS-C sensors (smaller sensor). You will see vignetting (black area at edge of picture). Answer:	Yes the Tamron 17-35mm F/2.8-4 Di OSD is a nice wide zoom lens to use with a Nikon D5100

Answer:	Yes, especially indoor photos of homes for sale. It is an outstanding lens with superb sharpness. I do recommend an AF check and use of the "lens dock" to obtain precise AF focusing. I was able to compensate for the 1 inch it was off by making adjustments in my Nikon D810. I recommend a bit of practise with it to familiarize yourself with use of a WA lens, especially at the 17 and 20 mm settings. I use this lens for all my landscape photography.

Answer:	I have no idea. I tried to use it as weather stripping for my front door, I was very disappointed the sticky part wouldn't hold and it was too thin. I will not buy this item again.

Answer:	I needed the product to conform to a very irregular surface when compressed. The lower density allowed it to 'squeeze' into all the surface when the door was shut on it. Had I used a high density product, I'm pretty sure I'd have air leaks. This softer material works very well at blocking the cold air!
