We have used the six treatments in this package to keep our 30-pound Beagle-Rhodesian Ridgeback mix insect-free for two seasons (April through October here in Maryland). We applied the fifth treatment a month ago. Last night our dog was acting as if insects were in his left ear. I could not see any insects but applied the last treatment. Answer:	No, never double up on flea prevention without checking with your vet. I almost killed my cat with adding a flea collar after a flea dip. The same goes for dogs. That was a very long time ago, though. Luckily she pulled through.

Answer:	Advantage has formulations approved for both dogs and cats, while the product Advantix is intended for use in dogs only. Advantix causes permethrin toxicity in cats. Permethrin is one of the main ingredients in Advantix which dogs can process easily but cats are not equipped to process it and it will cause serious damage even death to cats. Wait 48 if using advantix to have your dog around a cat. If you have cats in your home please do not use Advantix and use Advantage instead.

Answer:	Ive done this before and it Will harm your cat. I thought since it had same ingredients that I’d save money by using 1 for my dog & the other two for my two cats A few days to a week later my cats had these huge wart looking things on their face, it scared me but I never thought about the flea med til I had to take both cars to vet. The vet looked at the cat and asked ‘did you use flea med for dogs on your cats’ so he instantly knew what it was, had to buy meds for cats and the vet bill & meds were crazy. Horrible mistake on my part but they were well in a few days. I hope this helps someone to not make the same mistake I did. (I read directions-was nobody’s fault but my own)

Answer:	It is not scored. Very small would be impossible to split accurately.

Answer:	The nugget is not large at all. It fits easily under the tongue. Although I no longer take this product because my B-12 level is fine, when I did, I used to put it under my tongue and sometimes forget about it.
