Answer:	You can see the Moon and Saturn, and stars. How far can you see a specific item with sufficient definition to identify it? Determine how far you can do so with the naked eye and multiply by the binocular's magnifivation, e.g., if you can identify a person in a crowd at 100 yards easily, you will be able to do so equally well at 1000 yards with a 10x binocular. A bird at 50 yards will appear through the binoculars as it was 5 yards away.

Answer:	I have a pair of Poldr 8x21's. It can focus as close as 10ft. It doesn't really zoom in the sense of changing magnification. Maybe you're referring to focus? To focus, adjust focus for your left eye using the center adjustment ring, then adjust focus for your right eye using the adjustment ring on the right eyepiece.

Answer:	I couldn't us my iphone 6Plus, it was too big and the phone holder is not adjustable. It only holds a standard iphone size. I would guess you could purchase a different phone holder but I haven't looked into it.

Answer:	For star gazing you want a brighter image at night than these (or most) binoculars have. You can tell how bright the night image should be (if they are well made) by taking the second number, 42 in this case, and divide it by the first number, 12 in this case. That division would give you 3.5 for these binoculars. Ideally you would like to get it to be 6 to 7. You can get a higher number 2 ways. If you make the second number higher, which comes by making the front lenses much bigger, you get a big expensive set of binoculars that are a pain to carry but have an awesome view of the night sky. The other way is to make the first number (which is the magnification or power) lower. So if you got 6 power binoculars with the same size front lenses as these (6x42) you would get binoculars that are the same size and price as these, much brighter at night, but only make things look half as big as these do. For the sun, any good binoculars with high quality solar filters work (if one breaks or falls off you can lose your sight in that eye!).
Question:	Will this work for iPhone
Answer:	It will work with any phone small enough to fit the included tripod adapter. Also, you need to get the lens of your phone camera right up against the eyepiece lens. My phone is a Moto X Pure Edition, and the tripod adapter just barely opens wide enough to hold it. I have an after-market protective case on my phone, so the lens won't go all the way up against the eyepiece. It works, but I only get a circular image in the middle of the phone screen. It quality of the image is excellent, and it'll work if you can figure it out and solve these two problems.

The way of focusing:

Step 1:Fold the binoculars size until it suitable for both sides of your eye.

Step 2:Close your right eye and rotate the center adjusting knob until the image is clear.

Step 3:Open your right eye and close your left eye.Rotating the right eyepiece until the object is sharp.

Step 4:Both sides(eyes) are now in focus and you will need to use only the center focus wheel during the next use of focusing.

Question:	I plan to use these for the symphony. What is the best magnification and how do they function in dim lighting
Answer:	Obviously, the variable here is the distance from your seat to the stage, but generally this binocular will function fine for symphony viewing, since the stage will be lighted to some degree. I use these at the Hollywood Bowl from the middle row of section G1 with good results. Answer:	I am not sure if this is what you mean, but we have taken these Bushnell's on a cruise to Bermuda and enjoyed using them on our balcony to watch the ships that were sailing nearby as well as when arriving and leaving port.They are a nice compact set of binoculars.
Question:	Why can't you seperate out the reviews by the sub-product line. 8x21 is a lot different than 12x32 for example. I cant' tell what they are reviewing

Question:	Which binocular is best for bird watching
Answer:	Typical binocular sizes for birding are around 8x40, 8x25, 7x35, and 8x30. Bigger 2nd number = more light but heavierer. Models up from this that rare really great but still not to expensive would be the Nikon Acculon 7x35 (wide view), LL.Bean/Bushnell "Discovery" 8x25(small but sharp), and the Leupold Yosemite 8x30(very sharp and clear). This 8x21 is OK but it needs a bright target and it's not super sharp. Still, 8x21 is easy to carry around in pocket or purse. I use the Discovery a lot...it's a compromise size and super-sharp.
