Answer:	I had the same problem and realized I was using too much water. Like others, I would use less water. However, I think you need to put the insert in when you are adding water to the pot. If you bring water to a boil then add the insert and food, the water level may rise too high which is probably causing it to bubble over. That’s my two cents.

Answer:	I've had this 11in pan for about 2 years now. It's literally still like new despite cooking with it 3 to 4 times weekly. I primary cook eggs and stir fry vegetables in it, always with a little butter or olive oil. I have NEVER washed it with anything other than hot water and a paper towel. It has never been in the dishwasher. It basically cleans itself. Also I have never used it to seer meat, which I find to be especially hard on pans like these. I use only wooden and plastic utensils on it while cooking. I would give 6 stars if I could. Anyone who says this pan is not worth it either doesn't know how to cook or has been misusing it. It is both stylish and the best ceramic pan I've ever owned. I'm not kidding when I say there is not a single scratch or dead spot on the nonstick surface after 2 years. It just needs to be cared for properly, like most things in the kitchen.

Answer:	Yes. I use a variety of pans on my glass top stove. The only one I haven't used is cast iron because of the weight.

Answer:	Don't buy this. The first time I used this on my electric stove it peeled and had white spots on the bottom. Not sure about a gas stove.

Answer:	This was a gift, so I don't have it in front of me, but the depth is 10-12 inches. It's definitely deeper than a "normal" sauce pan.

The label does say the soft-touch handles are oven-safe up to 350 F.From the website: "Riveted soft touch silicone handles for comfortable handling; Oven safe to 350 F" The accompanying generic brochure that came with the 8 qt. stockpot: "T-Fal cookware with phenolic (plastic) handles, with or without metal inserts, or stainless steel handles with silicone inserts is oven safe to 350F/175C." The lid handle is phenolic. The glass lid is safe to 350 degrees F. From the generic brochure: "Refer to product packaging for further details on oven use."
