Easy Quick Lock Mechanism

Before using your poles, make sure that your locks are firmly secured. While the tip is on the ground, test to ensure the lock is secure by pushing on the top of the handle so the tip presses into the ground. If your pole shortens while doing this then you need to readjust the height and tighten the lock more.

Step 1. Open Tab and Adjust

Fully open the quick lock tab and adjust to desired height.

Step 2. Tighten Thumbscrew

Tighten Thumbscrew by turning it 1/4" to 1/2" turns clockwise.

Step 3. Close Quick Lock Tab

Quick Lock Tab should be difficult to close when properly tightened.

Step 4. Test and Readjust

Apply weight to the pole. If pole begins to collapse, repeat steps 1-3 until it remains at desired height.

Answer:	The total collapsed length is 23-1/4". If you unscrew the foam cap you may be able to get the 22-1/4" described by the manufacturer. You might be able to gain another 1/4" if you remove the walking tip.

Answer:	Great question. After you unscrew the knob or round top of the pole it exposes the threading to accept your camera. There is a metal disc threaded on there along with wrist strap... piled in layers like an oreo if you will. So the layers from bottom to top go like this: bottom section of grip, wrist strap, metal disc and then knob to cover the threading and keep all the layers smooshed down (not a technical term). And below are a few measurements and options as you could remove the wrist strap and/or metal disc to have more of the threading exposed depending on your camera and need. Metal Disc Dia = 1 and 1/8" Metal Disc Thickness = 3/16" Threading Length (when wrist strap and metal disc still on) = 6/16" Threading Length (when wrist strap and metal disc removed) = 11/16" I hope that helps. Answer:	HiYes. These belong to the "Big" binoculars group used in astronomy. They compare to other makes like Orion,Celestron,Meade and expensive brands. This group can be terrestrial and astronomical . If you get the right quality pair, you might be pleased with constellation and clusters views; and even large enough galaxies. I returned mine because I couldn't get them collimated successfully, so I saw doubles everywhere. On the moon you will see colored "halos" due to optics but that will minimize if collimated correctly. I strongly suggest to read reviews about this pair , and others, and acquire background on binocular collimation to help you decide. Also note one seriously important consideration, and that is mounting and hand holding. This by itself can dictate your choice. Good luck

Answer:	The short answer is I don't know how much weight this clamp will support. I wouldn't use this type of clamp for 7.5#. I currently use my clamp for a very light (in comparison to 7.5#) Palmcorder for deer hunting. What do you think about buying a camera tripod that is built for mounting right to the top of the tripod? My advice would be whatever you get, make sure you are mounting the speaking straight up and down (as close as you can get it to vertical reasonably) as the tripod or whatever you use will work better straight up and down rather than having a speaker tilted off to the side. Hopefully, the tripods you look at will have a weight rating on them.

Answer:	It will work better on a round surface but I have clamped it to a flat surface before and it held. It works better if you slide it all the way in when on a flat surface it it does not try to sag down.
