Answer:	You could if it actually worked. This charger stopped working within a month. I returned mine. Also you might want to consider more battery slots. 4 seems ok at first but now I got 1 with 8 slots and I think it's too small.

Answer:	I have owned this. The universal charger WILL charge batteries individually. There are 4 charging 'points' and you can choose to put one small battery (AA or AAA) in one point. Of course, you can also put two small batteries in each point to get the full 8-at-a-time figure. This also only applies to the small batteries. Cs and Ds are charged individually in each point, so their max is only 4 at a time total.

Answer:	Hi Nikhil Singh, over at the Energizer web site they have some additional information. Look under batteries and then battery chargers. You can download the user manual for this model. The user manual clearly indicates that 240V 50Hz power is OK. The only problem you will have is the plug. The two-prong plug is designed for U.S. outlets. Of course, any plug adapter will solve that problem.Basically, the answer is yes.

Question:	My 4 batteries were losing charge so I put them in the charger. The lights are green. Do they have to be completely dead for them to recharge
Answer:	If your batteries are a few years old (or have been over-charged routinely), they may have developed high internal resistance. When used in a photoflash unit, for example, they will give very slow refresh time since the terminal voltage is lower under load. But when you put them in a charger, the terminal voltage becomes higher due to charging current. So the EBL charger (which is not very smart) considers those batteries as fully charged, even through they are not.You should get some better quality rechargeable batteries (such as Panasonic eneloop) to use in your photoflash unit.
Question:	Can you charge different mAh batteries at a time? Lets say I have four 2000mAH and four 2300mAH batteries, do I have to charge these separately
Answer:	I would think they can be charged together. The mAh value simply is an indication of the length of time the battery will operate. It has nothing to do with out put current or voltage. The 2300 may take a bit longer to charge than the 2000, but I cannot say for sure that would be the case. I would put the 2000's together and the 2300's together. Don't put one size next to the other size.
Question:	How long does it take to fully charge batteries
Answer:	Charge time is determined by the capacity of the batteries divided by charging current. The charging current of EBL 808A is very low at 200mA. So to recharge a pair of 2800mAh batteries at 200mA will take at least 14 hours.
Question:	can it charge uneven amount of batteries (1, 3, 5...)? Can you recommend any charger to charge 3 batteries? AA or AAA

Answer:	I found a trick online that RESTORED ALL MY BATTERIES. It looks like magic but it worked for me on 8 batteries. You can google it and find the videos. Basically: find two short wires. Connect a bad battery with a good battery for 3-4 seconds (male to male, female to female). This will resurrect the bad battery but drain the good one. Now charge them both. Again, this trick salvaged 8 batteries I already put for recycling.

Answer:	I have several brands of rechargeable AA and its works for all of them. They will not all recharge by the same time. I try to keep the same type together.
Question:	what does charge error mean? It is not addressed in the instructions
Answer:	It mean that the charger has analyzed the voltage change between charging and discharging. It is constantly performing tests on the batteries. It has decided that the battery is not holding a charge as well as it expected the battery to do. Unfortunately, this charger is too sensitive and gives up on batteries that still have a lot of useful life left in them. You can't use this to charge batteries that are more than a couple of years old or batteries made by different manufacturers. I don't think there is a way to defeat the error message and still charge the batteries.

Answer:	No idea. There's no commitment to the number of recharges. I've recharged them several times so far. The bigger issue is DOA batteries. I have had at least one so far but they seem to be holding up in general.

Answer:	I was having a hard time with solar batteries leaking and not lasting very long so after some researching I started using rechargeable nimh batteries in July and havent had to replace any yet!!!

Answer:	Unfortunately, they are only 1.2, which means some devices may not operate correctly on them. Especially if they are required to be placed in series. Four batteries in series only deliver 4.8 Volts instead of 6 Volts

Question:	Wanted to find out about warranty my batteries can charge for 2-3 days and base is still red what can I do
Answer:	1.2 volt, like all standard AA, AAA, C, or D rechargeable batteries that I am aware of. (btw, these batteries are great. I have bought the EBL AA and AAA packs several times.)

This is very misleading; after reading these comments and seeing pictures in reviews it seems the unit used to have an actual 115/120V plug on the back to just plug it in to a receptacle - which is what I wanted. Instead it now seems to come with a Micro USB cable & connection on the top requiring separate power (5V @ 1000mA). This information isn't in the description or specs at all.

Answer:	You can charge 1, 2, 3 or 4 at a time.It makes no difference as each battery is charged separately.There's 4 "little brains" inside. Each one dedicated to a single battery.There is an indicator light for each battery. In 3-4 years, as batteries age, some will take longer to charge and you'll know which one is going bad.

Answer:	The EBL 808A does not have a Discharge function.The EBL 920D has a button that you press for Discharge function. However, I tested this charger and found it to be very unreliable in charging my eneloop batteries. Instead of charging to 100% full, the EBL 920D either misses termination and overheats the batteries, or it terminates prematurely at 60-80% full. Question:	Do aaa and aa batteries come with this charger
Answer:	No. Only 8 AA batteries are included. It does not come with any AAA batteries, but it will charge AAA batteries.
Question:	How long does to take to fully charge dead batteries
Answer:	The advertised charging current of EBL 808 is just 200mA for each pair of batteries. So in theory, to recharge a pair of 2300mAh AA batteries from empty to full will take about 12 hours (2300mAh/200mA = 11.5h). In actual measurement the current is even lower at around 150mA. If you see shorter charge time, that means either your batteries were not empty to start with, or the charger terminated prematurely before batteries are full.

Answer:	Hard to tell without a " charged Indicator Light ". Testing with a simple hand held battery tester is one way , but I suggest you get a good battery charger that turns off when fully charged.

Answer:	According to their claims "Improved low self discharge makes it still maintain 75% of capacity after 3 year of non-use, Batteries come pre-charged and can be recharged up to 1200 times" So I'd say yes... but it seems to me that your *NEW* batteries that you received had been sitting in their warehouse for a few years. I haven't used my C batteries in almost 2yrs, but when I last checked them, they were fine. I use my charger (the one in the photos that I also bought on here, the Klarus 8 Cell multi-function charger) every few months on my EBL AAA Batteries and they work perfectly! I hope this helps you in some way hunter.
