If your TV has an HDMI input that supports "Audio Return Channel" (ARC) then the Sound Bar will be turned on and off when your turn the TV on and off. You will connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI (ARC) input on your TV and the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (ARC) input on the sound bar. | Answer: | About the same as other current players. I haven't unboxed and set it up for use, yet. I bought it as a back-up for my current unit, because my A/V System uses a "heavy-duty" 4 ohm amplifier that does NOT have "HDMI-Connections/Inputs" and requires analog audio. The purpose for using this type of amplifier, is that most High End Professional Level Speakers are 2-4 ohm for greater response. Problem now, is that most Disc Player manufacturers are no longer including analog audio outputs on their units. It should be noted that Pro-Level Speakers are NOT used to listen to music or programs at higher output levels or wattage, but to listen at greater sensitivity of sound at low-levels, too. |
