511 Porous Plus

Formulated for porous surfaces, Miracle Sealants 511 Porous Plus penetrates the surface of natural stones like travertine, limestone, slate to provide stain and water protection. Water vapor within surfaces continues to escape, which also makes this product suitable for additional interior/exterior surfaces like concrete, pavers, grout and tiles like Satillo. 511 Porous Plus dries invisible without altering the original look of the surface.

1. Prepare Surface

Thoroughly clean surfaces and remove any coatings or residue. For tough build-up, Miracle Sealants Miracle Heavy Duty Cleaner Acid Substitute is recommended.

2. Apply Sealer to Dry Surface

In a well ventilated area, use either a Miracle Sealant's applicator or a clean, lint-free cloth to apply enough sealer to wet the surface. Allow to stand for 3-5 minutes for full penetration.

3. Wipe Excess and Buff

After no more than 5 minutes, remove excess liquid and buff surface with a lint-free cloth. Do not allow sealer to dry on the surface.

Allow to Cure

Allow to dry 3-5 hours, until dry to the touch, before light foot traffic. For best results, keep treated areas dry and free from staining agents for 72 hours.

Question:	I sealed my slate backyard with miracle 511 impregnator sealer last year, 1 coat only. Can I apply this product to darken my slate stone backyard
Answer:	When you spray water on the slate does it darken rapidly? If the water sits on the surface the Color Enhancer will not work. I would test the Color Enhancer in a small area to see if it darkens the surface. We see it in a sample size for that very reason.
Question:	Can this be used on expoxy rock
Answer:	If it is absorbent it will work
Question:	Can this be used on encaustic cement tiles prior to sealing
Answer:	This is an enhancer and a sealer so any sealer applied over it will most likely not adhere to it.
Question:	How much area does it cover
Answer:	It provided about 2.7 coats for my 100 square feet area. However, most of the shine and enhancer are now gone. A 0 -star product and a waste of money and time. I'd not recommend it for outside use.

Answer:	They are warm and thin. Best liners for winter.

Answer:	I always wear a pair of thin nylon socks under a pair of heavier socks, when I wear my work boots. The Danish Endurance socks work well for me as the heavier socks. The Danish Endurance socks are not extremely thick and they are not scratchy, so they would be fine for summer.
Question:	Can I use this on matte porcelain tiles
Answer:	Probably, depending on humidity and wind conditions. Under normal use you will probably not need to wash these daily. I purchased these a year ago and I can get several days of hard wear out of a pair without then feeling or smelling funky if I hang them and let them air out for a few hours. These socks have shown very little wear and teqr after a year of use. Far from a “dumpster fire”.
Question:	I used your Miracle Porous Plus Sealer to reseal my saltillo tile floors. Can I now use the Miracle High Gloss Finish Sealer over it for glossy look
Answer:	Get the smaller size. These are Euro sized and the US conversion on the chart is confusing. A size 42EU is size 9 US or 8.5 on some charts. I am a 9 US and a 42EU and the smaller size fits perfectly.

Answer:	I use it for our pool coping and do it every six months to be safe. Depending on where it is applied it may last longer than that.

Answer:	Thanks for your question Quicksand!Unlike Granite, Marble can be readily etched when it comes in contact with Acids. Tuff Duck is Neutral to Slightly Basic and will not etch Marble. The application instructions for Marble do not differ for Granite or Slate etc.. The difference will be the degree of porosity (or how porous) the stone is. A more porous stone will absorb more sealer than a non-porous stone. In general, marble is more porous than Granite. The directions for marble are as follows:1) Ensure a clean and dry surface, 2) Apply sealer liberally and allow to penetrate for 15 minutes (ensure the surface stays wet during this soaking period, more sealer may need to be applied during this time depending on the porosity of the stone) 3) After 15 minutes wipe up the residual sealer with a clean dry cloth.4) If any sealer was unintentionally allowed to dry on the surface leaving streaks, simply use Tuff Duck sealer on a cloth to re-wet/dissolve the streaks and dry with a cloth.The surface can come in contact with water after 6 hrs of cure time and will be fully cured in 24hrs.Thanks, I hope this helps.

Tuff Duck penetrates into the stone sealing the pores and the chemistry ensures a very high level of hydrophobicicity, or the ability to repel liquids ... You can see this by dripping water onto the sealed surface .. The water will bead on A surface sealed with Tuff Duck. Also Tuff Duck will not alter the natural look or Finish of the natural stone! -thanks for your question !

Answer:	Clean your grout lines FIRST, before applying a sealer of any kind. You never want to apply a sealer over dirty or discolored grout. They will remain that way! In my experience, I can recommend "Fresh Start 2000" as the best grout cleaner. Mix it with water. Use a spray bottle to apply. Scrub with a small stiff brush. Simple and easy to use and it will make your grout look new again. Full cure time for Aqua Mix Gold is 24 hours. Allow 30 minutes drying time between coats if applying more than 1 coat. Ready for surface traffic in 2 hours after final coat. Keep grout lines dry for 12 hours after final coat. Aqua Mix Gold penetrates grout. I recommend 2 coats for a long lasting protective seal. Question:	Can this be used on smooth shiny granite countertops? In the product info they only recommend it for honed or textured surfaces, not polished surfaces
Answer:	I used it on stone slate floors, a very porous surface, so I am not sure. It says "porous honed or textured granite." That is not shiny polished surfaces. The stuff has to soak in. I like it on slate because the slate looks natural without darkening it. I suggest contacting the manufacturer. There is a phone number on the back of the container 1-888-786-6343. The factory should be able to point you to the right product. I have shiny granite in my master bath. I used a sealer/polish once but after that a rag damp with water is all I need to wipe it down. My brother just uses a damp rag as well for his shiny granite. I do not know why people think granite is high maintenance. I think they like to sell a lot of sealer.
Question:	The suggestion is to apply more than 1 coat. Can i apply the heavy duty kind first followed by the bulletproof to give it a little shine? Thank you
Answer:	Hello Mauli, You can apply the heavy duty stone sealer followed by the bulletproof sealer from Stonetech. These 2 sealers, are called impregnating sealers. This means that these sealer fill the pours of the stone, these sealers will not affect the look of the stone. So unfortunately these sealer will not give the stone any shine at all.
Question:	Does this have a gloss or matte finish? Is this non color enhancing
Answer:	Gloss or matte finish? I would say neither. Once it is dry, the stuff is absolutely invisible. I put two coats on my new stone patio and anticipated some noticeable change. Nothing. You'll know it is there, however, when something capable of staining is eventually spilled. A little soap and water and the problem is solved. I saved the empty containers and marked them clearly with the application date. That way, I remember to order more every other year because the sealer is invisible and gives no hint that it is worn or fadding.
Question:	Can I keep the unused sealant for reuse a year later
Answer:	Yes. If stored at room temperature, has a shelf life of 2 years. Our experience shows us even longer.
