Answer:	NO, IT DOES NOT. The angle of the watch dock is too flat to initiate the nightstand mode on the watch unless you pop the charger out of the holder and angle it toward the front of the unit. That is the primary reason I will be returning this item. Such a silly detail to miss from a production and design standpoint. All they had to do was alter the angle a few degrees and it would have worked perfectly. Propping up the unit from the back doesn't work, either, since you have to prop it up so much the phone charger then flops forward and doesn't rest securely against the back plate.It's a shame, because the unit seems well-made otherwise, with cord management and additional USB ports for non Apple products. However, the nightstand mode support feature is not as promised in the description.

Answer:	It is very easy to release the steering collumn to fold down and the seat is pulling a pin and pulling out the seat. Sixty seconds or so.

Answer:	The hand brakes do not lock. They are also not very good. You will need to use your good foot/leg on an incline, either way, to stop your momentum. Also, the 'seat' is very hard and uncomfortable with the split and required significant cushioning. My husband had to fix squeaky wheels numerous times as well.

Answer:	Yes. There is a spring-pin and a latch in the handlebar post -you unlatch, press, and the bar folds down. It doesn't go flat but it folded enough to fit in the back seat of my tiny Chevy Aveo. Just make sure you strap it in(I used the seat belt) and lock the brake or it WILL roll around - especially if put in the back of an SUV or van (mother-in-law put in back of her SUV and when she opened the tailgate and the scooter JUMPED out and the cute little basket got bent -so sad). ++Hope this response is not too late.

In short, no, this does not natively connect to iphone 5, however, we a running an iPhone 5s on it using an Apple brand 30-pin to lighting adapter, purchased through the Apple Store.
