We didn't notice an inordinate amount of fluff/lint when we washed ours, but they are very heavy when wet, so you'll need a heavy duty washer and dryer if you're doing more than one at a time.

Answer:	No. It's 100% polyester. But it's very soft and velvet like. My 11 year old daughter says it's very comfortable. I guess manufacturers know how to make polyester feel soft now.

Answer:	I think the material has a fluffy cozy feel. It has texture, sort of popcorn, "nubby" puffy, with a slight loft. If you zoom in on the photo, it does show. I don't depend on the material for warmth, just a summery, warm mornings, cover-up. Worth the price paid.

Answer:	I prefer fleece for when I'm cold, I wouldn't like fleece for when I'm just out of the shower or have damp skin. For damo skin I would use terry.

Answer:	I machine washed mine in cold water and dried on a rack outdoors (in summertime). It didn’t fall apart, but seemed smaller. It has such an odd shape anyway, I will probably never use it. It’s shaped to fit a very tall, drastically thin person.
