Answer:	I bought this for my Grandma and it had a long strap. She cut off the excess for her waist. She's a women's size large pants. This is the description: SIZING - Bumbag includes an adjustable nylon waistband that fits a 15" to 48" waist. I'd take a fabric tape measure and wrap it around your waist where you'd want to wear this fanny pack and see if it will fit you (up to 48" in size.) If not, check for fanny packs that have a longer strap. They're all adjustable. I have a plain one for my hubby that was at least 10 inches longer in strap length. Larger ones may not be "fancy prints" - good luck! :)

Answer:	Please define what you mean by “waterproof”. If you’re looking for a dry bag for snorkeling, this is not for you. I’m my experience, it is “water resistant”: water beads up and rolls off. I wear it over my jeans and under my shirt, so my clothes would get wet before the bag does. I was wearing it during a summer festival, sweat and cooling misters did not effect the contents.
