Answer:	To activate and access the internet you must also buy a data plan, as stated in the description's details. To sell the phone at such a bargain price, Net10 requires that a plan continue for a minimum of 12 mos; therefore it is locked to their service so you can't switch carriers for a year. Until 2019, I used Net10 (but not with phones from them) for more than 15 years and I think highly of their service. Never a dropped call and service extended into Mexico. I stayed with them until major carriers finally offered truly unlimited access. A big reason for my preference had to do wth ISP resellers on ebay selling Net10 data plans at big discounts, whereas Net10 never lowers the price or goes on sale. I bought 50GB at a time but usually ran out every 3-4 wks. Kids can run out the limit pretty quick. Net10's internet service is cellular (4G LTE), rather than wifi. However, this phone has dual connectivity so you can also take advantage of wifi at public libraries or wherever free access is offered, so long as your data plan is active. Whenever the data limit is reached you can't even make a phone call other than to 911 until you reactivate. Last thing: Net10, like all other prepaid ISPs, doesn't actually own cellular systems, instead buying massive amounts of service from ATT, T-Mobile, Verizon or Sprint to then sell to their own customers -- us. So depending on what part of the country you're in, your Net10 cellular service is really either ATT or T-Mobile.
