Answer:	Camera yes, but the battery definitely not. But I really liked the case, it protects the camera well and does not cover too much space. My wife carries it around in her purse all the time as the battery life is good. When we go to a vacation I put it in a different case along with the charger, batteries, SD Cards etc etc. So I recommend you to buy 2 cases including this one...
