Answer:	the charger works great for the android a20 - its been the best replacement charger we have purchased. my family has not had a samsung j7 however the charger type for the samsung j7 is a micro usb fast charger cable which this cable meets that requirement - so it is compatible according to the samsung website information on the j7.
