Answer:	There is not any instructions that come with this product. The ones with metric on them can be converted with the help of a metric chart. the curves are not marked as to what they are used for, but information can be found on line.

Taking Measurements

Always check measurements before committing a pattern to fabric, noting measurements on each pattern piece. Check that notches are correctly positioned, especially after a pattern alteration. Curved pattern pieces should be measured using the tape's edge.

Muslins

A muslin, or toile, is essentially a garment prototype. Up to this point, the initial pattern draft is just a hypothesis in pattern cutting, and is only proven when the muslin is created and then tested on the fitting model or dress form. In the transformation from a flat to a 3-D shape, many unforeseen problems can arise. The muslin is a means of testing the design so that these may be corrected and the pattern resolved.

Question:	Is there any bleed through using felt tipped pens on this paper for pattern tracing
Answer:	Yes, went right through onto my table
Question:	Does it wrinkle & tear easily? Will traced pattern pieces keep their shape or is the paper too flimsy
Answer:	I have used it for patterns and it does keep it's shape after folding it and unfolding to use again. It does wrinkle as would any paper would, I have had no issues with that, and it does tear but not easily.
Question:	Will markers bleed through so i can transfer patterns to fabric/canvas
Answer:	Yes, it will. What a great idea to use it this way!
Question:	Could you use it for quilting? In the quilting world they say to use freezer paper to draw/trace the quilt design, sew then tear away. It is too thick

Question:	Does it cut the notch in fabric also
Answer:	That's what is for. I would try no to cut paper with it or you'll dull it quicker. But I have been told that the way it's made it really doesn't matter. I didn't know anything about this tool until I delved into the Master Tailor world. Also the notch it makes helps keep your fabrics from fraying.
Question:	Is this for marking the patterns only or is it strong enough to notch through medium-weight layered fabric, too
Answer:	It's a tool more like a paper hole punch - designed to cut paper or tagboard patterns that you make/design where those diamond notches would appear on a pattern that you buy. You mark within the notch on your fabric with chalk or similar marking tool. I did try it on fabric when I got it. Didn't work and my Patternmaking instructor hissed at me for trying, saying that's not how it's used.
