Answer:	We did not find it greasy and shiny but it is thicker than normal lotion. We used it for 10 days in Costa Rica and it worked very well in protecting us from sunburns.

Answer:	Yes, it blocks both. The tube says both UVA and UVB. It also says broad spectrum, zinc-based sun screens are a physical sunscreen which is usually always UVA and UVB.

Answer:	It's making you white like any 50 and more spf cream. But I put a little bit on my face and waiting 10 minutes. When it is well absorbed, I put a napkin on my face and walk along it with my hands, remove napkin from my face and then apply make-up. It turns out a very good protection from the sun and the face is not like a ghost.

Having said that, if you sweat immediately after application you can see the white lotion - sweating makes it hard to absorb the lotion (so apply it in a cooler, dry environment, allow it to soak in, and then you should be OK).We just got back from a trip to Bora Bora, with intense sun, and were very impressed at how well the lotion worked (no burning at all), and how good the lotion smells. We will definitely be purchasing this lotion again.

Question:	Can it go over sunscreened skin? Or do you recommend the areas that the zinc is put on to not have another sunscreen on it
Answer:	Zinka recommends putting on SPF first because the colored nosecoat only provides a “total Block” where it’s applied. So for example if you put the nosecoat on your nose and cheeks you will not have protection on your forehead or lips. So the sunscreen is a good base. We suggest SPF 30 lotion.

Question:	Is full face application required for effectiveness? Or can a strip on top of the cheek bone and nose suffice
Answer:	Since this Zinc Block sits on top of the skin (not meant to be fully rubbed in), it will be effective on whatever part of the body you put it on. Many people choose to put in on their nose and cheeks, but please know that any area you don't cover will be exposed to the sun.

Answer:	It will smear. My son wore it during 6 hours of junior life guard camp, applying it at the beginning of each day. By the end of the day, it was on his rash guard and towel and still coming off onto his hands, towel etc. If you have concerns with the color on your towels or clothing then I would buy a different sun protection product. The product smears on the clothing and towels (white towel) did come out in about 3 washes. The kids loved using it though. Hope this helps you decide :).
