Answer:	Always remove makeup first-use a solid oil-base cleanser (even for acnitic skin!) for about 1-2 minutes, rubbing well to remove makeup and any dirt/dead cells. Wash face with a water-base facial soap-make sure you take about 1-2 minutes to really rub your face to get all the excess sebum out. Once or twice a week use an exfoliator. Use your toner, gently pat it into your skin. Apply mask starting around the nose/eyes and let it sit from 10-20 minutes depending on the mask/personal needs. Remove mask and gently, yet firmly, pat face to maximize absorption and blood flow. Apply one or two serums, patting into your skin again. Use your moisturizer. At night you can add an overnight mask (it’s usually a type of serum). Day time use sunscreen. That’s the entire skincare method Koreans use. I have recently started this-I only do the masks at night because of time-but my skin has never felt, or looked, better. I am an adult acne sufferer and this has been the BIGGEST help.

Answer:	It depends on your skin type and the weather. If you have combination skin and it is cold/breezy outside, moisturizer is a must. If you are referring to spring/summer, moisturizer with SPF30 and above are highly recommended. Re-apply the sunblock every two hours, or one hour if you sweat a lot. Anyway, just ensure that the moisturizer is not too "heavy/rich" that may become a burden to your skin. Sometimes, less is more. Hope the above helps.

Answer:	Hello there, Sorry to hear that you have ashy skin. Honestly, I really do not know if this facial mask is going to help your skin type. However, it certainly does help people with dry or combination skin type after every application. Keeping one's skin moisturized takes a lot of self-discipline and know what products work on the skin and what products to avoid. The main cause of ashy skin is that one’s skin does not have the necessary moisture on the top layer of their skin. Laundry soap, bath soap, fabric choices, long, hot showers and dry weather can cause this lack of moisture and create “ashy” or dry skin. It can also be caused by certain medications, especially those for diabetes, malnutrition, hypothyroidism, and psoriasis. One can even have a genetic predisposition for dry skin. Also drinking alcohol or exercising without replenishing fluids can cause dry skin as well. It is important to isolate the cause or causes of dry skin to try to eliminate it from one’s life if possible. All I can say is that you should try different products for at least a few weeks (some may take months) in order to see/feel if they really work. Don't just quit or switch to another brand, cream or lotions after a few uses. Keeping our skin moisturized and avoid direct sun exposure are imperative. However, it does not mean that you must slather your skin with oily/greasy cream which may in turn clog the pores causing acne. Pick a product which helps keep one's skin hydrated is 2nd step. 1st step is definitely the type of cleanser you use and how hard it is. That said, go for something not too "heavy" on your skin. Answer:	Hi! We actually get this question a lot. It is completely normal for the bottle to be 75% full. The product comes with 70 grams of the powder wash, which fills up the bottle to roughly 75%. The bottle isn't sized exactly for the amount of powder wash inside of it ;).

Answer:	Hey Frita, thank you so much for the question. We have not personally tried the Tatcha product itself, and obviously, we are going to be a little biased since we are selling the SRB product. Tatcha is likely a fine product. However, if you will take a look at some of the people who have left reviews on the product, you will see that they were highly satisfied with SRB vs. Tatcha. Hopefully, someone who has personally tested both products will answer this question and provide a non-biased perspective on this issue. We believe that one of the largest benefits of SRB is the way in which the rice bran extract is made such that no artificial preservatives or fixatives are used while still maintaining the benefit and activity of the nutrients within the rice bran. When extracted from rice bran, the active nutrients are unstable, and have a limited half-life. Therefore, the nutrients in rice bran are normally extracted in the presence of preservatives. Most of the other brands that include rice bran in their products, such as Tatcha, preserve using fixating agents and synthetic preservatives such as phenoxyethanol and sodium benzoate. Such fixation agents/preservatives may negatively influence or inhibit the activity of the nutrients and proteins. Reduction or cessation in activity following preservation using fixatives (such as alcohols and formaldehydes) is a well-known concept in cell biology. I want to give you a little background about CasinBio, the people who make this product. Before they started expanding into cosmetics, they were a food processing company that dealt in the development and distribution of raw ingredients for food products. Stabilized Rice Bran is actually a proprietary process developed by Casinbio for extracting, stabilizing, and concentrating the nutrients that are naturally found in rice bran and rice germ. These are the ingredients that provide the beneficial effects seen with traditional rice water washing. The benefit of their process is that they can extract and maintain the activity of the nutrients without the need for synthetic fixatives or other preservatives. This is why the brand is called "stabilized rice bran".Additionally, we don't know anything about the concentration of the rice bran extract used in Tatcha and we're not sure if they're concentrating the extract like we do for SRB. In SRB, the concentration of rice bran extract is 10X what would normally be found in traditional rice water.
