Answer:	I am a retired dentist. I no longer "bleach" teeth, so this answer is not based on potential effects on my income. The ingredients used are used in dentistry and will brighten your teeth. 35% carbamide peroxide can also burn soft tissues (gums, lips, cheeks tongue) and can even burn a hole through clothing. If overused, it will damage the enamel of your teeth irreparably. I wouldn't feel comfortable turning just anyone loose to use this product in an unsupervised manner. Certainly some individuals will use it safely and effectively, but too many will be tempted to overuse. Your enamel will initially lighten because, like everything else, if you look at the tooth surface under an electron microscope, it is porous. The stains are trapped there. The bleach lightens and even removes that staining material. It opens up the pores and if you were to eat or drink too soon, those pores would just suck up stain like a sponge. Remember: There is only so much of an effect that's even possible. You can't keep chasing a shade you will NEVER reach. The damage to the enamel actually turns the enamel clear and the darker dentin under the enamel shines through...you start going the wrong way. Use only intermittently after an initial daily period which will yield the greatest and fastest result. Answer:	The syringes are manufactured with an application tip or nozzle, which is then capped. There are no other application tips provided. A very light amount of gel is applied and sparingly dotted into dental tray. Then gel should be distributed evenly along tray impression using syringe nozzle. It would appear to be not enough gel, but as gel activates and expands, the gel will provide required tooth coverage. Any excess gel applied may cause irritation if allowed to remain suspended on gums. The 44% carbamide peroxide gel is very thick and reduced flow application tips do not dispense gel well. Answer:	A light can be used for this product but is not necessary. The light just helps speed up the results.

I could tell you this: Whatever the percent of carbamide peroxide, for ex 44 %, it means it is relatively like 14-15% hydrogen peroxide, so if you have used that, maybe you will know how sensitive your teeth will get. I have used 44% carbamide and it bothered me for a day or two after using it. I think most of the sellers are getting it from the same manufacturer.
