Answer:	All of our fabrics are treated for water resistance, but given that the bag uses a zipper for the laptop and stitching in it's construction, we do recommend a rain cover should you find yourself being in wet climes .

Answer:	Not sure, but it held two laptops (and power supplies), an iPad, 3 kindles, power supplies, 3 books, headsets, kids snacks, flight essentials and was hauled all around on vacation and performed really well. Best backpack I've ever owned, 4 separate compartments (and two smaller ones). Definitely well thought out, I don't think I would have made the trip without it.

Answer:	Hi - for me so far, it latches and stays latched fine without it being locked-it's not a hair-trigger at all. The caveat would be that there is some possibility of accidentally brushing against the latch (it's a pry-type from its top) and causing it to open. I never lock mine, but it doesn't "move around" a lot either. Hope this was helpful.

Answer:	I've carried this bag through moderate rain storms and blizzards. It holds up pretty well and I have never had anything inside get wet while it is zipped shut. Although, I don't think Tumbuk2 designed this bag to be waterproof/resistant.

Answer:	Yes. It also has a side pocket for water bottles. I can fit a full sized 1 Liter Nalgene bottle in that side pocket.

Question:	Does this backpack have anything (a strap, etc.) that would connect it to the handle of a roller-bag and keep it secure while sitting atop it
Answer:	The backpack has a chest strap that buckles between the two shoulder straps. This could be attached to the handle of a rolling suit case.

Question:	Is this backpack waterproof? I really like it but here where I am from it rains all the time
Answer:	Not waterproof, however, in the listing..... Coated fabric on Fog color has higher water resistance
