Answer:	As an artist, I have been using my cushion on a bench I use for painting (acrylics) and have found it to be fine. I use for probably 4 hours per day. No loss of comfort or flattening. I think it depends on what your are using it for and how often. It for more than 8 hours per day, it may flatten. I do not know.

Answer:	Though "warm" is different for everyone, I find it to be comfortably warm. I live in Iowa so I would describe this as Spring/Fall warm. If you wear it over a turtleneck, it is sweater warm. The material is soft and lightweight but also dense/tightly woven so it protects from wind and crisp cold. It is a nice wrap for the cool night air after an evening out. When I wear it as an outer layer over a long sleeve shirt and a hoodie, I don't use a coat in the winter. I have the two-tone reversible dark blue/tan cape without fringe.
