Answer:	Lol your air chuck should be either a male or female thread. Your coupler should be 1/4 inch not 3/8 inch since the couplers included are universal.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

If using a dual head type tire chuck with an inflator gauge and notice air is escaping through the off-side once connected to the tire’s Schrader valve, simply release the trigger and remove the inflator from the Schrader/tire valve. Point the straight side of the outlet up into the air (make sure it’s not pointed at someone). Squeeze trigger, allow air to flow (gravity will cause the sealing valve to drop), and place the chuck end onto the Schrader/tire valve while air is still flowing. Air will start to flow into the tire.

Dual head type tire chucks are unable to inflate a completely flat (zero air pressure) tire. Tire air pressure would normally cause the sealing valve to move and seal the unused side of the chuck. However, if a tire has 0 air pressure, the self-sealing valve has no pressure to react to.

Answer:	Here is the information from the manufacturer: Straight Foot 516 / S-516 with Lock On Threads1/8"-27 NPT need to hold chuck on tire (15") valve during inflation

Answer:	Doesn't have a button for deflating, but it will deflate if not fully seated on the valve stem.

Answer:	I spoke with Milton this afternoon and they say that there was a misprint on the packaging and MOST of the listing of sellers of the Milton S-506 say 10-120 PSI but SHOULD have read 10-160 PSI. I accidentally purchased the Large Bore model that is used for Tractor and Heavy Equipment tires. My 5th wheel RV 14 ply tires take a 110 PSI max, so I needed an inflator that is a minimum of 150 psi. Now I know why I had a tough time finding a quality Milton inflator gauge to fit my needs!! Milton said this has led to a lot of confusion since the misprint!!
Question:	What is the difference between S-506 & S-516 in Quality & How does guage clamp to tire valve
Answer:	Same quality. The 506 has standard dual head set on an angle and the 516 has a dual head with a straight end for filling inside dual tires through the outside wheel. The 516 has threads in the bore that simply grip the threads of the valve stem; slightly larger diameter than the stem so it slips on when straight, but hangs when off-straight. The 506 does not have the thread lock feature.

Answer:	Seems like you purchased the wrong gauge for your car - this is a low pressure tire gauge meant for low pressure tires (atv, tractors, lawn mowers, etc.). You most likely need the 60 PSI gauge.

Can someone explain how the calibration works

Answer:

The instructions are included in the item. The big clip with a ring on it attaches near the back end of the gauge (where the indicator pops out when using). That lines up with a small hole in the tool and locks an internal sleeve. Adjustment is achieved by rotating the indicator within the tool, with that locking clip in place. Reference pressure would be obtained with a test bench with a precision gauge and regulator equipped with a test port to use for reading the tool. Once adjustment is complete, remove the clip. I stow the calibration clip by attaching it to the smaller ring up where the tube connects to the pipe leading to the foot of the gauge. Since I can't attach the factory instructions here, I'll post a review and put it there.

Question:	Hi, for some reason, when i'm filling up my tires, the gauge is on, but not showing how many psi in my tires. any suggestions? thanks
Answer:	As far as I know, the device can't be calibrated, as a work around just add or subtract the known difference, only solution I have. Mine has been pretty accurate.

Question:	Can this gauge be calibrated annually
Answer:	The "business end" is clamped onto the hose, so that depends on what you consider to be easy. If you want to use this item, you might have to figure out a way to adapt the round chuck to a valve stem.
Question:	Does this have a bleeder valve
Answer:	Well, I use this to adjust the air pressure on kias all day probably at least 20 or more tires a day and it's done pretty well. After about a year of use the rubber hose sprung a leak but I was able to buy a hose from Snap On for like $25 that was a braided steel hose. Everything but the hose seems to hold up fine though. The gauge is still accurate (vs our digital tire balancer machine) and the lever and everything else works well after nearly two years of daily use in a professional environment. You may need to upgrade the hose sometime though if you get it.

Question:	Does this have 1/4“ npt at air inlet and outlet so i can use my own fittings and air hose
Answer:	Yes, you can install your own 1/4 NPT fittings
Question:	Does the unit have to be connected to a charged air line to take a reading as mentioned by one reviewer
Answer:	If you're trying to use the inflator as a pressure gauge, air from the tire will just pass through the inflator and exit through the plug that you would normally connect to your air hose. What I did was screw a plug into the back end of a spare connector so the air can't pass through and then connect that assembly onto the plug on your inflator. It makes this inflator into a very accurate pressure gauge. When you want to use it as an inflator, just disconnect your "stopper" and connect to an air line. Works great.
