Make sure you disconnect your shocks prior to torqueing the new torsion keys to desired height-( I would suggest is to remove the shock brackets before you do the torsion keys due to binding issues)

Answer:	Yes these will allow for factory height but the factory sets the front end lower than the rear on these trucks. I used this to level the front end with the rear end.

Answer:	They will work as stock but they are offset where they slide onto your torsion bar allowing you to level the front end with the rear. I bought them for my 2002 Silverado 4x4 4-door that comes with a factory 2.5" lift. But the front stock setting is lower than the rear. These worked great to level the front with the rear. Also, we will need the large heavy duty C-clamp tool when you do this project. OTC (7822A) GM torsion Bar Unloading tool. Don't even think about using a normal C-clamp, these are under enormous pressure. Also when you change out the keys, it is a lot easier if you lift the front end up so the wheels hang which releases the pressure on the torsion bars.

Answer:	I recommend getting longer shocks to make up for the taller height. Reason being if you stay with the stock shocks, if and or when the your suspension ever needs to fully extended the short shocks would act like a stopper and that could damage the seals and the shocks itself.

Question:	Does it work on a VW Beetle door hinge
Answer:	Go to YouTube and type in: :replacing a classic beetle door hinge.. I would not recommend buying this item . As it is not used in this application. The door hinge has no spring load.if your trying to get the hinge pin out forget that. I think you should just replace the hinges.....You have to drill the heads of the screws out on the bottom hinge then knock it out with a punch.the top one might unscrew. You never said What the year of the bug you are working on was. Anyway you will have to buy new door hinges . Hope that helped you a little .peace..

Answer:	Not using the tool properly. Torsion keys hold so much pressure and weight that using this tool incorrectly will warp it. I’ve used mine 5+ times and has never failed.

Question:	Does this order come with the bolts or retainer? Used AllData and it said hardware is not reuseable because of the loctite used on it
Answer:	No it just came with adjusters only hope this helps
Question:	are these the stock keys or are they specific to lifting
Answer:	These are specific for lifting. The hex is reindexed so that you will put less strain on the keys when you lift your truck. Factory keys that are cranked are compromised and more prone to failure.
