Answer:	yes 2 wire, but be careful...no off switch even though picture may show one.

Answer:	This will depend on your situation. If you are just trying to use it for turning on and off a heat source, then it should work just fine. Follow the instructions carefully. Even though you have 3 wires, I'm guessing one of the 3 is not being used. Follow the wire to the other end and see if all 3 wires are hooked up. If there are only 2 hooked up, those same 2 wires will be what you use at the stat. The stat is just like a light switch, just lower voltage. Power will come from your transformer, through the stat, then to the device control you want to turn on. If it is unused for a long period of time, I suspect that it would last for many years, as there is very little inside to degrade over time (except maybe several tiny capacitors, which typically last for decades). I forget what the normal life expectancy is during normal use. I have 3 of them, and the one in my bedroom does occasionally malfunction. I have read some "less than favorable" reviews about this product. Make sure your batteries are good and fresh. If they are fresh, but the stat still malfunctions, you might have received a "lemon".

Answer:	The thermostat is designed for a line load based system such as a baseboard heater, motor, hot water heater, etc. You can use it for either 120v or 240v. I assume that your 120v relay will work just fine, it certainly should draw well under the 16 amp capacity of this thermostat.

Answer:	This is a 2-wire heat-only thermostat.
Question:	how accurate whole house
Answer:	The current temperature indicator dial is totally separate from the setpoint lever at the bottom. I had to recalibrate the former by a couple degrees F to be accurate. On an absolute scale, I can't expect this thermostat to be terribly accurate, but it appears to hold the temperature within a 2 degF range. It's very simple, and no batteries are required.
Question:	We need to replace our old one that works with our gas free standing heat stove - will this one work? looks the same but model # is one # off
Answer:	This thermostat is very simple and is basically a single-pole on/off switch for heat-only applications. It's identical to the old mercury-in-glass thermostats from the 1940's except it uses a mercury-free magnetic switch instead. It has an adjustable "anticipator" (resistor) for 24V systems but my furnace is a self-powered "millivolt" model so I set the anticipator to zero ohms and it works fine.
Question:	Have to replace a gas fireplace thermostat. I was told there are specific wall mount thermostats for a fireplace. What type should I get
Answer:	Don't know what kinda fireplace you have, but this works great on mine. I just wired my 2 switch wires to the tstat and was good to go.

Answer:	I am sorry, i have not installed them yet, but according to the manual, you can have outside temperature sensor, and return air temperature sensor, but no additional room temperature sensors.

Answer:	8910W works just fine without WiFi, you just cannot manage it via the phone app or web. Yes it should reconnect when WiFi comes back. I occasionally (every 1-2 months) reboot the WiFi access points when upgrading their firmwares, and the 8910W reconnects just fine.
Question:	what if you have more than one zone? I have 3 zones, would i need to by one thermostat for each zone

You would be able to adjust the span setting via the iDevices Connected App. The span regulates how long the equipment runs and how long it waits between runs.
